Here's the thing. You know this isn't how it went down. I know this isn't how it went down, and most importantly, the businesses aren't going to take you seriously.
Saying he reference a joke/phrase (which is what he did), and saying he "repeated a joke" that he "causally threw out there" is saying the same thing. The difference is, historical context.
If I posted a picture of some of the propaganda posters from the 1940's, about Japanese people and German people, it'd be considered offensive now. But in the context of discussing a topic about it, it would make more sense than just randomly saying it.
If Lanny had said it out of context, or had a history of saying racists or inappropriate things, or in the case of the poster who was banned for dropping the N word several times after being warned not to, and did it in a way to antagonize or personalize a person or a group of people, the point would be stronger.
This is no different then how the republicans freaked out when whats her face mentioned it's not possible to make Barron Trump an actual Baron, just because his name is Baron. They knew exactly what she was saying, and their fake outrage is silly. Just like this fake outrage is silly.
Since that's not why Marazul was banned (temp or not), I don't see why you think this is the case.
Neat. So I take it you were super offended during Django unchained?
Here's the thing. If this website "needs to die" and/or you're trying to submarine it, why don't you just leave the board? If I don't like something, I leave. I don't continually complain about things and beg for attention.
If you saw just how many of the "reports" we get from people who are reporting every single slight, even the most slight of slights, you'd be surprised at how many of them don't qualify for editing. Especially the reports made about the more conservative members of the board. It's not some grand conspiracy. We're not near organized enough for that.
