In my view the US should want to have the greatest Navy, Air Force, Coast Guard, National Guard and Space Program on the planet....get out of regional conflicts that are not a direct threat and use modern technology to keep global peace....the days of ground troops massed everywhere needs to end. We got Bin Laden with a small group of professionals...not a battalion.

Thank you for offering a sound opinion.

We can go into a place like this when we have the need and even hold the moral high ground long enough to succeed in a specific mission. But the invader always will lose the moral high ground, so it is best to leave before that time with the success that was achieved. Way overdue.

Why would the words "rednecks voting for Trump" be a trigger? I think most rednecks did vote for him. I think most white supremacists voted for him and I think most sexists voted for him..the pussy grabbing fans...not all, but most. Hillary didn't have that fan base.

I wish we would get out too. If Trump pulled all the troops out I'd give him the credit for it. He could use some credit
