Trump to be sworn in by the chief justice, John Roberts.

Pence to be sworn in by Clarence Thomas. This is the first time in history a black man has sworn in a president or vice president.

There will always be some people who don't like who won....but there has been a level of respect for the person, the office and the country. The Democratic legislators that are boycotting the inauguration do more to divide a deepeningly divisive country than anything else and come across as a bit childish because they didn't get their way. They want you to accept everything they do but won't even participate when it's something else.

They want Republicans to work across the aisle in bi-partisanship but yet won't even show up. #ironic

I'm always impressed with the Melaniabot 3000, her programing is almost lifelike.

Someone has egg all over their face.

this is what "10,000" people looks like:

Sorry, I'm confused. Does that not look like 10,000 people? I'd say it could be more.

Yes, it's way more. Like 400,000+

A certain someone claimed yesterday that only 10,000 were going to show up, citing some clowns on twitter.

It turns out for the party last night, they only sold 5,000 tickets (and sold out). Still, 10,000+ showed up.

Welcome to true Hope and Change.

The historic nature of this can not be overlooked. Trump is taking a massive pay cut, turning down his salary after a lifetime of success (and some failure) to live in a smaller house and take on something of such immense service. He didn't have to do this to have it define him or have it be a resume' builder. I certainly don't agree with everything he has said or done but I can respect the massive job he is taking on after what he has already accomplished in his life.

Very well said.
