And before you say "But Trump might not know that" - (a) that's a pathetic defense that is only plausible because he's an ignoramus, and (b) the writers of the speech were Bannon and Miller (see post above) who CERTAINLY know that and CERTAINLY intended a shoutout to that previous Nazi-sympathizing movement.

People keep saying this and it literally has no meaning right now. We are 4 years away from another election and there is no guarantee trump even wants to run again in 4 years and no one can predict what the political atmosphere will be at that time.
I have no clue if you actually think he will get 2 terms or not or if you were half joking Denny, its just something i'v been seeing for the last few weeks pop up everywhere and its something that I'v never liked used with any sitting president in their first term.
 
After the first Gulf War, George HW Bush was a shoo in for a second term. We all know how that turned out. After Romney lost in 2012, the Republican Party was declared on life support and waiting for burial. And we all know how that turned out. The events of today clearly show that that the Trump "win" is on extremely shaky ground at the moment as far as longevity goes. And anyone who is already calling the 2020 election is on drugs. I honestly can't help but wonder if the protests against Trumps election and the ongoing inaugural protests might not seriously be the Lexington and Concord of the new American Revolution, especially since Donald Trumps seems to be as tone deaf as King George III. Of course, George is thought to have had bouts of insanity. No one would ever accuse Trump of that of course......
 
I don't think Mr. Trump will need to run a second term. I expect he will have done what we needed him to do before the end of 2018 if not 2017. Then all we need is a man that can faithfully see that the laws are enforced.

I don't think Trump even thinks about 2020.

George HW Bush is the only republican president since FDR to not win a 2nd term. Ford never won a 1st term, so I'm not counting him.

Since 1900, Warren Harding served one term, but died in office. Coolidge served 6 years following him. Hoover served one term.

Ruh oh... CNN caught pushing fake news once again. The photo that went viral was "hours after his inauguration." The clock on the clock tower shows it was 1:15pm. SAD

In this thread I posted a picture of mannequins and a picture of Bush getting covered by a plastic poncho by Chaney.

In a different thread I posted a picture of the white space in the crowd was actually the KKK. If you're actually going to take that seriously then that would mean I think the crowd is larger than being claimed by the media.
