Defense is an entirely different strategy from offense.
Offense should never be taken on until the sovereign knows the definition victory and the General knows specifically how to achieve the victory.

The media is absolutely complicit in soliciting public support for our endless wars. The administration and their cronies draw up the plans and the MSM broadcasts the lies and false narratives to millions to garner support. This is a tried and true method and the media is IN NO WAY innocent. The people in this country have been lied to about every war since Vietnam.

Obama picked up right where Bush left off when it came to causing complete and utter chaos in the Middle East. He did nothing good there whatsoever. Let’s not pretend.

There were no WMDs is Iraq. It was a made up excuse by Cheney to get oil.

He inherited it with open arms, and dragged it on for the entirety of his presidency. Killing Bin Laden was great, but it was a symbolic victory in the name of vengeance and didn’t accomplish anything beyond that. It would have been nice to have some proof of Bin Laden's death though. It’s too bad they rushed to dump it in the ocean all wrapped up like a mummy with no identifying characteristics to be seen. I guess it was a respect thing, as opposed to parading Gaddafi through the streets with a flagpole up his ass. Guess we gotta take their word for it though, cuz, you know, they said it’s true.

Just like they don't seem to notice what we're doing in Venezuela and just like they don't seem to doubt the unnecessary chemical attack in Syria.

How convenient. Don't suppose it has anything to do with money, it isn't like war sells....

Iraq had to do with Cheney's control of our security apparatus. There was very little intelligence on the issue than what the Bush administration was putting out and in the security briefings given to Congress. Who were we to challenge the unknown? The only thing you could blame on the press was not getting secret evidence to the contrary.

Venezuela is a defacto mess. One only has to look at it to see that something's got to change. People are dying from a lack of food and medical care.

The chemical attacks in Syria are very well documented by third parties outside any government.

It is my opinion, that there is actually nothing that the current pres can do, that will not be rationalized by his supporters. My first memory of politics was in 1963. Since then, I have never witnessed a political figure who is more narcissistic, rude, dis-attached, and divisive.
 
Spreading democracy can only be viewed as a good thing when you base your decision making on feeling rather than logic.
At the basic level, democracy is heavily flawed. The majority of any given population does not follow logic when making critical decisions.
Where true democracy will give everyone equal voting power resulting in the illogical nearly always overpowering the logical.
How can you morally spread such a system?

1. “Who were we to challenge the unknown?” That is our right as American Citizens, and that is the DUTY of a journalist, to challenge the official narrative, especially when no facts are provided.
2. Venezuelans are starving and lacking medical care because of the sanctions put on them by the United States. Denying a country export of their only resource causes a crisis, imagine that. Now that the country is in shambles we can step in and “help out” like we did in places like Iraq, Afghanistan and Libya.
3. The chemical attacks in Syria are definitely well documented, and it’s been all but proven that Assad was not behind them, nor would it have been in his best interest to perpetrate such an attack. It’s been reported by reputable sources inside and outside of the US for quite some time now that anti-Assad militants were most likely behind the attacks. Most of the mainstream outlets didn’t even deny it when The reports came out, they just didn’t care to report on it. Must have been more important Russiagate news happening at the time.
4. The mainstream media relentlessly pounded all three of these narratives into our consciousness until there was enough support to act on them. Up next....conflict with Iran. Everyone please remove your thinking caps!
