Trump went to Kentucky, Republican lost. Trump went to Louisiana, Republican lost. In two supposedly deep red States.

I started the term Trumpettes when Trump was running for office...it's because he's not really a Republican....he's a bandwagon politician...he deserves his own political name...it's why I don't call his fans republicans...
I don't call them Republicans, either, and that's because they aren't Republicans. They needed that party because they had the largest number of people who were mentally weak and easily swayed. I call them the Trump cult because their members are particularly mentally feeble and are mesmerized.

You are acting as if everyone on the left has the same interests, same motivations, etc. We aren't that organized. Some of us are going to focus on Ukraine, some of us are going to laugh at his stupidly long ties. I agree with your point, it would be better if everyone was on-message and laser focused, but that isn't at all realistic.

John T. Molloy wrote a book called Dress for Success must be somewhere around 40 or more years ago. He did an extensive study, employing experiments in public, on how people reacted to a large array of clothing. One of the things I recall him talking about was the proper length of a man's tie. I recall him saying that it should extend down to one inch above the waist line. Based on that, Trump doesn't know his ass about how a proper gentleman should dress.
I not only wince at his stupid looking tie length but also his often use of a suit jacket that extends down to his knees like an overcoat. Why not wear an overcoat over a proper suit jacket?

True, his sartorial taste is terrible but I only wish that was his worst crime.

Remember when conservative media said President Obama disgraced the office by wearing a tan suit? Trump also wore a tan suit but that wasn't a disgrace. And he didn't look good in it.

The body language when Trump sits in a chair dangling his arms between his splayed legs and slumped shoulders is about as weird as I've seen from anybody trying to look dignified...his tie almost drags on the ground when he's in a chair
