Trump supporters, what would he have to say before you would not vote for him?

Come on, SPD, if you can't see what's going on here, you're blind. Trump's candidacy, whether you like him or not, has totally exposed the media as basically a vehicle for special interests and their own skewed agenda. They are far from neutral and fair.
The media, being mostly the subsidiaries of giant conglomerates loves ratings and clicks. Trump saying a lot of crazy shit has been great for business.

Right! One meeting it's black and brown up front, the next is willy nilly.
Willy's nilly caused plenty of stir last time he was in the White House, I can't imagine how a term as First Husband would go...

You would think so, but there are more clicks on exposing how biased the media is.

There once was a Senator from Mass,
Who went out in search of some ass.
He lucked out and found it,
Fucked up and drowned it,
and that was the end of his ass.

So I was at my bank today.
There was a short line.
There was just one lady in front of me, an Asian lady who was trying to exchange yuan for dollars.
It was obvious she was a little irritated.
She asked the teller, "Why it change? Yesterday, I get two hundred dollar for yuan. Today I only get hundred eighty? Why it change?"
The teller shrugged his shoulders and said, "Fluctuations.
The Asian lady says, "Fluck you white people too!"
"Cataracts?" "No, not cataracts, rincoln continental!"

We all knew this before, but they are particularly nasty. Selective coverage and choosing to ignore stories. Its just shameful.
The same press that exposed Nixon...Trump's bullshit is fair game...and exposing him is their job too..I've read plenty of Obama hate and Clinton hate...just like we read plenty of Bush and Cheney hate....welcome to political campaign coverage.

This is more than exposing someone or some crimes. This is vindictive journalism based on a personal distaste for a person or an idea.

Denny doesn't feel sorry for him. Denny loves him and will defend him no matter what, like a mama bear protecting her ugly orange cub.

No, I just want the media to be fair. We're supposed to trust them, and they're earning distrust.

I love how you tell me what I mean and misquote what I say. Seriously.

Trump set himself up for every scathing review he's received....he's attacked everyone basically. How Denny can feel sorry for him confounds me. He's gotten more free press than any candidate in history. It carried him past a dysfunctional GOP primary and now he's just out of his depth. The media usually responds to guys like Trump exactly the way they have...he's the candidate touting the rigged system schpiel. It's backfiring.

Like I said, I don't feel sorry for him.

What I want is 30 minutes of news dedicated to scathing reviews of Hiliar for every 30 minutes of scathing reviews of Trump.

I think we all can decide if Trump is the colossal asshole you and I agree he is.

What I want is a 6 week campaign that keeps us from being burned out on bullshit from both candidates...I can switch to many websites that scathe Hillary every 30 minutes...the difference is Trump's bluster is hard to compete with...he's bullied and insulted every media outlet, political rival and social group there is...that's why he gets so much ink...he wants it. Denny, you've devoted an amazing amount of posts to Trump's defense for what's seemingly a medium for weighing your hate against Obama and Hillary.....I'd vote for either over Trump....but I've decided to give the dems and republicans a no vote this time..mainly because I don't support either candidate, but if there were no alternative, Hillary would get my vote and it's not even close. I'm not surprised by closed door deals, coverups or lies in DC...what shocks me is that anyone else is in this day and age.

It's truly a shame that rather than voting for an honest candidate...we are faced with voting for the least dangerous candidate. Gary Johnson hasn't pissed me off yet

Obama looks great next to either of the major party candidates. As the campaign goes on, his popularity and job approval ratings go up. He's also not on TV a lot talking, so people more easily forget why he had low ratings prior.

I absolutely have no hate for Obama. I've posted numerous times about things he's done that I think are great. Like gays in the military, gay marriage, and so on. I have major issues with his economic policy and authoritarian view of government. On foreign policy, he's been a disaster. Those things are not hate. I don't think the guy is crooked in the least, unlike the two major party candidates.

My intent is not to defend Trump, it's that I am stunned by the idiocy of some of the tactics used to destroy him. He's facing a withering assault by the media unlike anything I've seen in my lifetime. I thought the Romney "47%" and "binders of women" bits were incredibly overplayed at the detriment of much more important issues (Benghazi, ISIS, Arab Spring) which absolutely calls the media's complicity in electing a particular candidate.

Trump wants to create a military force to physically expel immigrants. That's all you need to know about the guy. Not that he made a joke about the 2nd amendment guys might take offense to SCOTUS unconstitutionally erasing the 2nd amendment. They're making much ado of nothing, it's a smear.

WWW sites do not counter the constant beating of the drum for Hiliar by the major news networks and 2 of the 3 major cable news networks.

I am not surprised about back room deals, etc., either. What I want is for the press to report on them without bias and let us make up our own minds. I don't want them hiding or burying the news on one side.

It's not up to the news anchors to opine. That's why they have guests. And the guests shouldn't be all one POV, either. Debate is healthy, smear is not.

Meagyn Kelly and George Stepanoupolis didn't smear Trump...he couldn't handle intelligent questions without embarrassing himself..Trump brought this shitstorm on consciously...no intelligent reporter could stand by and not question his bluster. This is not really any different than what Nixon went through with his shady media relationship. We know how that turned out.

If Trump doesn't want to be the subject of scathing reviews, he should stop saying stupid shit. He's the one driving the news cycles. This is entirely within his control, or would be if he had any self-control.

News isn't about 'balance', it's about the news. There's no need to 'balance' a report on war in Syria with a report on war in Norway. There isn't a war in Norway to report on.

I've said all along that our election is just way too long....by the end...everyone's burned out and digging for turds in a sewer to swing voters.

I love how you tell me what I mean and misquote what I say. Seriously.

I assumed you must, since you constantly do the same for me.

That's not at all what I am talking about.

CNN showed a guy in the background in the audience when Trump said the 2nd amendment thing. They brought him on, expecting him to say Trump suggested Hiliar be assassinated. He didn't comply. He said the people around him thought Trump was making a joke.

Wow, Trump jokes, BIG NEWS! No matter how bad a joke it was, it doesn't deserve hours and hours of airtime (which it has received).

Hiliar is the closest thing to Nixon that even sniffed being elected president.

In an election, there is balance required. The press isn't there to be cheerleader for one side or the other. Unless it's YOUR creepy democrat.

Clinton's body count is much, much higher.

You realize that if Trump's stupid gaffes weren't the subject of news sites it would be the Kardashians?

If you were actually right about CNN being horribly biased, then they wouldn't have showed the guy.

Not to mention all the Trump supporters they employ and gave airtime to for giving the Trump spin.

How about they talk about the goons he says he's going to hire to evict immigrants?

Or equal billing for the latest Clinton Foundation scandal? You know, the FBI wanted to investigate but the DoJ told them not to.

They're really pushing the DNC talking points. Like the DNC email hacks are like "watergate." In actuality, the DNC squashing Sanders' campaign is what watergate was about.
