Apparently it was what he said in an interview yesterday that triggered Trump.

Contrary to Trump’s threat of fire and fury, Bannon said: “There’s no military solution [to North Korea’s nuclear threats], forget it. Until somebody solves the part of the equation that shows me that ten million people in Seoul don’t die in the first 30 minutes from conventional weapons, I don’t know what you’re talking about, there’s no military solution here, they got us.”

I don't know, is there some irony in Bannon being fired for a rare instance of being a decent human being?

Fitting that he got fired from the Trump white house for telling an obvious truth. We can't have that sort of thing.

You know Trump is seriously considering asking Alex Jones to replace Bannon.

Wait, I thought Trump was Bannon's puppet. Another made up conspiracy of the left debunked. They are throwing shit at a wall hoping something sticks

Pfttt.. it's just the administration continuing to show that they will only choose the best people - as promised, only the best people will work there. Who knew there were so many best people and that it is so easy to find replacements to them.

Lord of the Rings was an allegory for the Trump administration.

I am thinking Clockwork Orange - it's all there - behavioral psychology, psychological conditioning, totalitarian government, ultra-violence, sex - heck, they even give it away in the name - the president's twits arrive like clockwork.

Bannon the Barbarian. Unclear if he meant "fucking MACHINE" or "FUCKING machine". Neither is good, but the second one makes me want one of those showers from Silkwood.

Apparently Bannon is going to stay loyal (leading conspiracy-minded folk to suggest this firing, preceded as it was by that bizarre interview with a liberal magazine) is just for show:

Loyal to Trump, though, doesn't mean loyal to Kushner and his other enemies among Trump's allies.

The groundhog saw Steve's 5 oclock shadow. We'll have 6 more weeks of fun.

When is Trump going to achieve anything as President? I think the whole dog and pony show is getting in the way of people transparently seeing that he hasn't got shit done as President. After talking up such a big game. Drain the swamp, build the wall, reform healthcare. Fail fail fail.

Instead he's accomplishing alot when it comes to shit to retweet and musical chairs within his lame cabinet.

Its getting comical. At this point I'm convinced Trump supporters will never admit they picked a clown to run china town.

Some are feeling it, but they will NEVER admit it.

Well, he's made George W Bush look like one of the best Presidents ever, by comparison. That's actually quite an accomplishment.

What in the actual fuck?! Trump's generals are betraying him and this nation by forcing Bannon out. This is Julius Caesar in real life.

"in real life" This is why you people should stop getting your history lessons from statues.

Things are getting done on the quiet. For example, people in nursing homes are now more open to abuse (MAGA!). And lots of super right-wing judges are being approved.
