Politics TRUMP VOWS TO PUT "AMERICA FIRST" IN FOREIGN POLICY

Trump has promised to appoint justices that are approved by an anti-gay anti-woman organization. Vote for Trump and you're voting against my rights and the rights of women. I mean, Jesus Christ, he thinks women should be punished for having abortions.

I'm not going to vote for him. Not even tempted.

That said...

He didn't say women should be punished for having abortions. He was asked a hypothetical question.

On gay rights and marriage:

In an interview on April 21, 2016, Donald Trump said that North Carolina erred when it passed a bill restricting transgender individuals’ access to bathrooms that conform with their gender identity. “North Carolina did something that was very strong and they’re paying a big price. There’s a lot of problems. You leave it the way it is. There have been very few complaints the way it is. People go, they use the bathroom they feel is appropriate, there has been so little trouble, and the problem with what happened in North Carolina is the strife, and the economic punishment that they’re taking,” Trump said. He added that he would be comfortable with transgender activist Caitlyn Jenner using whichever bathroom she chose in Trump Tower.

Conservatives question Trump's qualifications over comments like these he's made:

“The decision has been made, and that’s the law of the land,” Trump says in one interview, referring to the Obergefell v. Hodges Supreme Court case that legalized gay marriage last year.

“It’s a conversation that more and more people are having, and anything can happen,” he says in another clip.

Interesting thesis. So screwing up is ok, as long as you realize it sometime afterwards?

If you think normal politicians don't "screw up," as you claimed, I got an igloo to sell you in Arizona

These are all the reasons I would pick her, esp. #1. This year really will be the lesser of two evils.

We've seen Hiliar's foreign policy. I don't want to see any more of it.

That's Libya.

Typical Alinsky tactics by Chris Matthews. Attack something that will never happen. A hypothetical question, where Trump answered logically. It's the main reason why so many think the pro-lifers are whacko. Logically, if abortion is banned, the mother would be punished.

The good thing is this election isn't about abortion or gay rights. Those battles have already been won. The current election is about bringing back jobs, safety and destroying political correctness.

What's really freaking out the progressives is how vast the Trump Train reach is. There are gays, minorities, evangelicals, atheists, blue collar, white collar, right and left. Why? Because it's about "America First" not party ideology or social issues.

1) Because the money would still be spent if the U.S. moved its military units back to domestic bases from those forward bases.

2) Because in exchange, America gets favorable trade agreements, the value of which are not included in your military-only numbers.

3) Because each base and embassy contains a den of spies. Without the bases, the CIA would have to spend more.

This might be OK if we all chipped in to pay for the NATO missions, like Bosnia and Afghanistan. We're paying EXTRA $trillions (by your own "figuring") for that.

I'm on my phone, so I can't look it up. I remember seeing a graph where almost 60% of the NATO allies aren't even paying their 2% of GDP that was pledged.

Trump can beat Hillary Clinton

What happens when Trump, after Hillary inevitably accuses him of sexism, says that Bill is a rapist, a serial assaulter of women, and that she is his enabler? What happens when he incorporates this into his stump speech? The upside, if you can call it that, to Trump's refusal to act "presidential" is that he is the only candidate who will go that far. Trump, and Trump alone, is the only candidate who would not only resurrect all the Clinton sex scandals, but make them a centerpiece of his campaign.

Actually, it's not funny. Rape is a serious matter.

Hillary helped cover up and enable Bill for years, how can she say she stands of for women?

I am not pro Trump at all. I'm not pro Hiliar either.

If I had a gun to my head to choose between the two, it'd be Trump. Why?

1) I'd rather he appoint the next justices to SCOTUS.
2) I think we can keep him on a short enough leash that he doesn't do serious harm.
3) I have no doubt he'd hire quality guys around him to handle all the governing.
4) I do not trust Hiliar's judgment on anything, especially foreign policy.

I would probably oppose most of what Trump would propose, legislation-wise.

If I had a gun and the choice was between Trump and Hillary, I'd probably shoot them both. ;)

That's missing the point.

The point is that Trump's supporters claim it doesn't matter that he doesn't know anything about government, he'll just hire great people.

But if that were his modus operandi, he would have gone out and hired great people for his campaign also. But he didn't hire great people. He hired lousy people, and succeeded despite them.

Now, maybe he can hire lousy people as President and still succeed on the basis of his personality alone... that's the argument you need to make. Not that he'll hire well in areas where he doesn't know what he's doing, because he's proven he won't.

Yes, one of each, like the Village People.

His "lousy" hires won him the nomination.

What more can you ask of them, realistically, at this point?

True leaders can find talent and see beyond the box. I am very confident that Trump has the foresight to see which people will work well in his cabinet.

Oh, I know you are confident of his abilities. I'm just not seeing why the rest of us should be.

It's okay if you don't, I believe you will be in the minority come general.

And likewise, it's ok if you do...just remember I own the rights to "Magsplosion" and "Magsplosion 2016" and will be selling t-shirts come November 9.
