I'm still happy with 90% of his moves, and he's already outworked any previous politician in their first 11 days by leaps and bounds.

His EO enacting a 5 year lobbying ban for his and future administrations is the best piece of political anti-corruption law in my lifetime, but strangely the MSM hasn't even reported it.

Hillary made it clear she intended to disarm All Americans through EO's as soon as elected so it's not like a choice was offered.

How is that 'disarming all Americans'? I mean, I understand you oppose those proposals, but they definitely do not add up to 'disarming all Americans'.

I am slightly concerned about this. The 2nd Amendment is ultimately the only issue I truly give a shit about when it comes to SC rulings.

He's described as a "hunter and outdoorsman". Those kinds of people, though not always, have a higher tendency to be "Fudds"; or guys who think that a bolt-action rifle is the only long gun that Americans need. And their arrogance on that issue is appalling, and tends to speak on how they view firearm ownership overall, and guns in general.

I hate those kinds of people. They claim to be supporters of the 2A....but they're actually not. In fact, I strongly believe that they are actually more dangerous to the 2nd Amendment than Democrats or Liberals; since the Left uses these people as propaganda to say "see, this is a 'gun guy', and he supports restrictions on guns!"

If Chris Cox of the NRA-ILA supports this nomination, then I too support this. I've read Cox's writings for years, and he's always struck me as very intelligent, with a handle on what's what when it comes to firearms issues and the 2nd Amendment.

It's amazing. This is their job, and they completely fail on it. It goes to show you that they don't actually give a fuck about what is going on they just tow the party line at the time to stay in power.

Democrats are far more concerned about being popular than they are about being good politicians. For so long, they have relied on the ignorance of the population to remain popular with them for election cycles.

Only now, the people are starting to wake up to just how out of touch with average Americans Democrats really are. They aren't going to get away with it anymore.

The only way Democrats are going to get away with it is if they infest places like Portland, Seattle, SF, LA, New York, and other Democrat-run shit holes; where the population that they lord over is as out of touch with the rest of America as they are. Just so that they can continue to play on the ignorance of said population by playing the popularity contest.

It's why Obama was such a popular president....but terrible at actually BEING the president.

So your opinion of Obama changed after you voted for him the first time and saw first hand how he did on the job. That's not flip flopping, that's becoming more informed based on observation.

But lets be honest, even if Wyden and dems loved this guy they're still going to oppose him because this is one of the few bargaining chips that they have. Backroom deals will be made in exchange for eventual votes. And that has always been an acceptable thing in politics.

Unless he fucks up in the hearings he's going to be on the SC.

In a related issue, Trump's nominees to numerous posts have been blocked by Democrats. It's only a delaying tactic, they will be approved.

But I'd rather see Trump pull them all and shut down all but the essential agencies altogether.

It's a win-win-win. Democrats get what they want, Democrats get what they deserve. The people win.
