because no one is beyond redemption. there is a difference between feeling empathy for the individual and indignation for the crime. as stated above, maybe he now turns states evidence on more malfeasance from the president's campaign, and knows where the bodies are buried as he was the manager for the entire trump campaign until he was recently replaced. The teflon don seems to be getting a lot of egg stain on his face lately. perhaps while not changing his bases' votes, it will discourage their participation in November. After the Watergate scandal of the Nixon re-election campaign Charles Colson, one of those convicted and sentenced to prison for his role in the crimes found redemption during his incarceration. he started a prison fellowship & outreach that has lead to prison reforms to address the injustices of the prison system. All things can lead to good.
Redemption is a load of shit.

Because he did vile things but he is human and I don't cheer suicide. I understand it but don't cheer it.
I make no excuses for his actions. If he wants to say it's the result of mental illness I call bullshit. He deserves a very long prison term.
He also reportedly assaulted his wife. He is a scumbag. But I am a humanist.

prove it.
I'm going to wager you are religious. If not, sorry, and I'm not trying to pigeonhole, but it seems to me that believers really love the notion of atonement. To me, redemption is a con like all the other enlightenment bullshit. Righting wrongs, absolving sin, whatever, is all paradoxically self-serving and gaggingly self-aggrandizing.

Hmmmmmm............taught by the Jezzies were we......?? Like my parents, yours are probably pondering the wisdom of a Catholic school tuition......

needn't get hung up on the religiosity of the subject. classic fiction has dealt with the subject since the written word and likely in the unrecorded oral histories of the world. (crime & punishment, les miserable, a christmas carol,........) .
individuals, groups, states and entire societies demonized for some perceived slight, or fault or action have sought and/or received redemption in the eyes of those offended. I suspect a time or two even in your own interpersonal relationships redemption has either been sought by you or someone seeking your forgiveness to be redeemed in the eyes of the slighted.

Are you Canadian or something? You're like chronically nice. And I mean that appreciatively.

I wrote a novel length response, then erased it. I think I'm just a skeptic, or maybe cynic is a better word, about the integrity and intentions of other humans. I liked the redemption character arc for storytelling, but in real life I think we are better off avoiding people with sordid pasts...

I couldn't care less what he's done. It's the suicide part I was commenting on.

Easy to test the theory. Give him a hockey stick and see if he goes mental.

Or just wait to see if he apologizes every other sentence

Parscale’s public meltdown happened while he is reportedly under investigation for stealing from the Trump campaign and the RNC. According to the source close to the campaign, the Trump family is worried that Parscale could turn on them and cooperate with law enforcement about possible campaign finance violations. “The family is worried Brad will start talking,” the source said."

Well, Parscale is off the campaign. Just another former coffee boy now.
