My grandfather hiked through 200 miles of Mexican desert, got to this country, learned English, and joined the Army to earn his citizenship. Fought in Korea on the front lines and was decorated for Valor.

I have to wonder what he would think if he saw this country today. According to my father, he was very proud of his accomplishments and his service, and he absolutely loved the US.
