I didn't start any of them. But you wouldn't want me to just let them flop, do you. After all the rest of you haters add very little.

Bad ratio? What is a good ratio?
Are posts to be liked?
WTF are you talking about?

Can you read? Maris boasts about his “4000” likes. It took him 25000 posts to get there. Find a poster that is “less-liked” than that. Besides yourself.

no, it’s a tweet that’s alluding to a theory without evidence.

Fine. Fair enough. He’s a liar, we know.

No, it doesn’t necessarily. People are allowed to have Russian names without being Russian operatives. Crazy, I know.

The moron you quoted was trying to validate the Russian collusion nonsense with a Russian-sounding name on a loan agreement. Sorry, it’s flimsy at best. And if it was a business interest IN Russia when Trump said he had none? then...yeah, he’s a liar (we know). That doesn’t mean “Russian collusion” though. You guys are scraping the bottom of the barrel for ‘I told you so’ stories to validate the last year of garbage you’ve been reporting and they are all dogshit.

At this point I hope Trump gets caught burning Democrat voters’ ballots while buttfucking Putin on a riverboat in Kamchatka just so you guys will have something remotely interesting to talk about.

Lol

I see you're here because you think it's a popularity contest.

I view a forum as just the opposite. Debate requires disagreement at the start. Why would I post anything I thought would just get 20 posts of "I agree"? Why would I start a thread that would die from non-input?

I post a lot of good news for fiscal conservatives, minorities, and freedom-loving Americans in general. There are very few posters of that ilk on this forum and yet 4,000 likes.

As you point out, 25,000 posts, and that's just on this current board. Seems you must like my posts for as often as you quote them and reply with so much emotion still after all these years. :dunno:

Proof....the orange buffoon is in your head charging rent! Your post sound just like him talking about anyone questioning his bluster....I guess it takes a lot of practice to brush off real topical conversations and include an element of respect. I'm fine talking with anyone about why he's a shitty president..you should be too.

Your getting warm! You really don't think I make post for you or most of this weird ass place to like do you?
yeah you do...you love posting pictures of the Mar Azul and getting likes for that beautiful boat...I call bs Marzy

My brother did a stint building houses in South Africa with Habitat for Humanity. Jimmy Carter was building the one right next to him. My brother said that he was the nicest, most down to earth gentleman possible and that if you needed anything at all (ladders, tools, whatever) all you had to do was ask Jimmy. He had it all. Jimmy Carter is probably the only president in modern history who did not get rich off the presidency. He might have been a poor to mediocre president, but he was one of the better humans to occupy the office since it was created.

Good look at the opportunists and the payoffs they got through "honest business" after office.

you should be too.
Oh river my friend! You are so willing to help what a man should think. MarAzul is berthed on the mouth of the Umpqua now, why don't you come down and lend some expertise that might be worth something. Like river knowledge.

Ha!

I gave notice that I would no longer post those. They only go to those that asked for them, so they do not go here anymore.
Just the hard core shit here now.

Reminder: it was YOU who brought up your “4000” likes. Not me. I only pointed out the infrequency of people liking them.

No, it was crandc who brought it up by trolling with the tired "does anyone read MARIS61's posts".

4,000 likes suggests that at a minimum 4,000 people read my posts.

Unless all of those 4,000 liked my posts, and we know that's not likely, the actual number who have read them is astronomical.

I find this really funny......first of all you've been here 11 years...the OT section was filled with 8 years of anti Obama threads and anti Clinton threads....mags and Denny were still here....I'd say at one point you were getting steady bodyman and marz likes across the board....good for you!
I've given your music posts likes over the years.....other than that....meh

No, it doesn't suggest that at all.

It's highly unlikely that your 4000 likes came from 4000 different people.

Sadly for you, crandc is p re etty much spot on. I simply have no reason to read your fake news. Pretty funny how your boy is turning on Fox News now. It's only a matter of time before he turns on supporters like you.

You and Lanny devote roughly half of your time to posting little nothings like this every time I post something.

You've got MDS. :blahblah:

Eric Trump: Trump Organization taking legal action over MSNBC host Lawrence O'Donnell's 'reckless attempt to slander family'

By Liam Quinn | Fox News

Lawrence O'Donnell backtracks on Trump finance story
MSNBC retracts thinly-sourced story on President Trump's finances; reaction and analysis on 'The Five.'

Eric Trump vowed that the Trump Organization will take legal action against MSNBC and Lawrence O'Donnell after the left-leaning host aired a singled-sourced, unverified report that President Trump had loans co-signed by Russian oligarchs.

"This was a reckless attempt to slander our family and smear a great company. Apologies are not enough when the true intent was solely to damage and cause harm. As a company, we will be taking legal action. This unethical behavior has to stop. @Lawrence @MSNBC," Eric Trump tweeted Wednesday night.

The threat of legal action came after the MSNBC host apologized earlier in the evening for what he called an “error in judgment” during his show on Tuesday night.

“Last night I made an error in judgment by reporting an item about the president’s finances that didn’t go through our rigorous verification and standards process. I shouldn’t have reported it and I was wrong to discuss it on the air. I will address the issue on my show tonight,” O’Donnell tweeted Wednesday afternoon.

MSNBC HOST LAWRENCE O'DONNELL ADMITS HE MADE 'ERROR IN JUDGMENT' IN AIRING CONTROVERSIAL TRUMP-RUSSIA REPORT

The liberal host’s mea culpa came just hours after the president’s legal team sent a harshly worded letter to NBC on Wednesday demanding an apology and retraction for what it called “false and defamatory, and extremely damaging” comments.

The letter, obtained by Fox News, was sent by Trump’s legal counsel to NBC Universal executives.

“We write concerning the false and defamatory statements published by Lawrence O’Donnell and NBC Universal,” the letter read.

“Demand is hereby made that Mr. O’Donnell and NBCU immediately and prominently retract, correct and apologize for the aforementioned false and defamatory statements.”

TRUMP DEMANDS APOLOGY FROM NBC NEWS OVER 'FALSE AND DEFAMATORY' REPORT, THREATENS LEGAL ACTION IN SCORCHING LETTER

The letter, written by Charles J. Harder, asked for NBC to confirm in 24 hours: “O’Donnell and NBCU will immediately and prominently retract, correct and apologize for the aforementioned false and defamatory statements.”

“Failure to do so will leave my clients with no alternative but to consider their legal options which could include immediate legal proceedings against Mr. O’Donnell and NBCU,” Harder added.

NBC News did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

The incident occurred on Tuesday night when O’Donnell and fellow far-left MSNBC host Rachel Maddow were discussing how Trump was “able to obtain loans when no one else would loan him any money” when he tossed out the unverified speculation.

WHITE HOUSE SLAMS MSNBC FOR UNVERIFIED REPORT, SAYS LEFT-WING OUTLETS HAVE 'WEAPONIZED' THE MEDIA

“I may have some information, in this next hour, which would add a great deal to their understanding of that, if true, and I’ll be discussing it here,” O’Donnell said. “I stress ‘if true,’ because this is a single source who has told me that Deutsche Bank obtained tax returns… this single source close to Deutsche Bank has told me that Donald Trump’s loan documents there show that he has co-signers. That’s how he was able to obtain those loans and that the co-signers are Russian oligarchs.”

A stunned Maddow leaned back in her chair and responded, “What? Really?”

CNN HAS BAD WEEK AMID APRIL RYAN, CHRIS CUOMO AND DON LEMON NEWS: ‘IT WAS QUITE EMBARRASSING’

O’Donnell added, “that would explain every kind word Donald Trump has ever said about Russia and Vladimir Putin” if his information is accurate.

“These statements are false and defamatory, and extremely damaging. The only borrowers under these loans are Trump entities, and Mr. Trump is the only guarantor. Numerous documents for each of these loans are also recorded, publicly available and searchable online. Thus, actual malice can easily be proven based on your reckless disregard of the truth and unreasonable reliance on an alleged ‘source’ who you will not even identify in your story and likely is seeking to mislead you and the public for political reasons or other ulterior motives,” the letter read in response to O’Donnell’s report.

“You are officially on notice of this dispute and are required to undertake steps to affirmatively preserve, and not delete, any and all physical and electronic documents, materials, information, and data,” the letter said.

The letter concluded by stating that if NBC failed to retract the story and apologize, Trump would “pursue all available causes of action and seek all available damages and other legal remedies to the maximum extent permitted by law.”

CNN'S BRIAN STELTER WIDELY RIDICULED AFTER BLAMING TECH ISSUES FOR BIZARRE ANTI-TRUMP SEGMENT

Earlier in the day, White House Press Secretary Stephanie Grisham blasted O’Donnell over the story.

“This is one of the reasons that a majority of Americans have lost trust in the media. Instead of applying ethics and standards to their reporting, journalists and left-wing outlets have weaponized the media, using it to attack and harass people with little to no regard for the truth,” Grisham told Fox News.

MSNBC’s primetime hosts have had a long history of running with unverified claims regarding Trump and Russia. “The Rachel Maddow Show” has plummeted to fifth overall among cable news programs after she dedicated substantial airtime since Trump’s victory over Hillary Clinton in 2016 to speculating about whether or not Trump colluded with Russia.

Viewers began turning away when Maddow’s collusion theory was discredited by former Special Counsel Robert Mueller's report and testimony. Ex-MSNBC host Krystal Ball even blasted her former colleague earlier this year for floating wild “Russian conspiracy theories” that blew up when Mueller didn’t substantiate them.

“Rachel Maddow, you’ve got some explaining to do,” Ball said on The Hill’s “Rising.”

Ball noted that MSNBC and Maddow “built segment after segment, show after show, on building anticipation for a big reveal” that never arrived.

NBC News did not immediately respond when asked if O’Donnell’s report met its standards.

Only problem with suing for slander is you have to prove it was slander. That would mean he would have to release his tax returns.

Asked on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” who he talks with consistently about foreign policy, Trump responded, “I’m speaking with myself, number one, because I have a very good brain and I’ve said a lot of things."
That's the kind of meandering that I would expect from a very very feeble minded person who is also evil and spends nearly all their waking hours conniving.

"Look, having nuclear—my uncle was a great professor and scientist and engineer, Dr. John Trump at MIT; good genes, very good genes, OK, very smart, the Wharton School of Finance, very good, very smart—you know, if you’re a conservative Republican, if I were a liberal, if, like, OK, if I ran as a liberal Democrat, they would say I'm one of the smartest people anywhere in the world—it’s true!—but when you're a conservative Republican they try—oh, do they do a number—that’s why I always start off: Went to Wharton, was a good student, went there, went there, did this, built a fortune—you know I have to give my like credentials all the time, because we’re a little disadvantaged—but you look at the nuclear deal, the thing that really bothers me—it would have been so easy, and it’s not as important as these lives are (nuclear is powerful; my uncle explained that to me many, many years ago, the power and that was 35 years ago; he would explain the power of what's going to happen and he was right—who would have thought?), but when you look at what's going on with the four prisoners—now it used to be three, now it’s four—but when it was three and even now, I would have said it's all in the messenger; fellas, and it is fellas because, you know, they don't, they haven’t figured that the women are smarter right now than the men, so, you know, it’s gonna take them about another 150 years—but the Persians are great negotiators, the Iranians are great negotiators, so, and they, they just killed, they just killed us."
Wow, this from the most stable man ever?

Lawrence O'Donnell publicly acknowledged he was wrong to report a story not yet confirmed. Even though he said "if true" it was still unprofessional. That doesn't imply story was right or wrong, just not confirmed. That is what a mature responsible person does when he/she makes a mistake.

In fact, Trump has repeatedly threatened to sue media figures, including O'Donnell, for stories unflattering to him and never does, because he would have to testify under oath and can't because the unflattering stories were correct.

So... Even if he has an IQ of 132, its not even close to “one of the highest”. Id have my doubts he’s that high anyways.

Also, do we really want to be “talking” with ourselves on foreign policy that seems like its probably missing the mark.

No way he has an IQ of 132
