...ducks on the pond...gotta feeling about McCann right here.

nice call, McCann has looked like he's going to have a very good year, hitting in the gaps, against the shift, with power, key Ribbies....kudos...!

...hey, as far as I'm concerned Tex and ARod can sit their ass on the bench for the rest of the year and collect their paychecks from there.

Yes, I would rather watch these guys than the stiffs that kill the lineup.

Ball game...

Cuthbert's shattered bat, a thing of beauty; a by product of Chapman's fireball, in the spirit of MO', tho' Mo' had mucho better control, ....

Aroldis at times throws a nail biter of a game, a few too many over thrown pitches, a walk here and there, and the opposition is back in the ball game, not tonight, hopefully not in the future...

But damned do I love seeing the radar gun light up in 3 digits...

Very gratifying win.
Contributions from backup players,
Tanaka gives up 6 R in 5 inn - Miller surrenders 8th inn lead via HR and they still get the W.

Good to see bats warming up - I don't expect to see these VERY LOW batting avgs continuing through the merry month of May.

That was actually a really fun game to watch.

Tank did not have his best stuff tonight but I'll cut him some slack because he has excelled every time out. Tonight was the law of averages catching, but the offense did what it was supposed to do, get back runs given up by the staff,

Yeah I'll give Tanaka a pass also on this one. He's been the Yankees most consistant starter so far this year. And DEFINITELY I'm all for leaving both A-Rod & Teixeira out of the lineup as long as possible, add Headley to that list also.

....^^^^ to all the above....

Like Vic said, this was actually a "Fun Game to Watch", and its been damn near since opening day, since the Yanx played like this, hope its contagious going forward...!

Time to dust off the pom-poms, 90-95 win team showing they are built for the playoffs.

Huh...what? Sorry a Royals fan grabbed my phone .

Not sure about playoffs, still some ifs, but it sure was nice to see those young duds turn into young studs if only for one game.

Sorry but this group 4-5 players barely hitting there own weight I just don't see this team making the playoffs this year. Hell the'll be lucky if they even finish the season at 500.

I swear damn near every time I see "hicks' in the line up, I can't help but think of Dan Hicks and His Hot Licks, (never been a fan of 'em, tho')...

...yeah, and I'm not sure why anyone would think Hicks getting picked off in the bottom of the 5th is not "poor base running".

...I suppose that by pointing it out while pulling for the team during the whole game equates to "jumping off the ledge".
