GO YANKEES!!!!

Score Check, Yankees losing, why am I not surprised, Hammels may be a tough assignment,

Sabathia with a surprising outing, one mistake, but all his team mates can muster is 6 single to this point. A different chink in the Yankees armor shows up each game out.

Team is lifeless. Have to give credit to Hamels for helping to make them look lifeless.....and of course the inconsistent Yankee offense.
Hamels isn't exactly bringing Koufaxian stuff out there.

Too bad there aren't any players in the Yankee lineup willing to drop down a bunt or two just to find out if Hamels can avoid tripping over his own feet.

Ah well, 8th inning, could have used good middleman to start, ah shit, there are none. I believe the Yankees are going to be swept, real crock of shit. Get that 8 off of those uniforms.

This team is just pathetic and boring to watch. I hate to say it but I'm really close to officially giving up on these Idiots.

It's like I said the other day. I'll wait to see if I would buy into the tease again. Soon to be two games below .500 again. That's simply the best this group can do. Sell time.

Yeah, know what you mean.
Tough team to watch....I do it because it's in my blood and a lifelong habit but I DO change the channel more frequently.

Don't you find it interesting this season, this team gets to .500 and then proceeds to continually
fall below the "mediocrity" level. Well, that's one way they have been consistent!

When A-hole was informed his playing time would be diminished his comment was you haven't heard the last from me. Tonight 0 for 3 struck out twice hit a sac fly. Don't know what Beltrans status is but if he is hurt the Yankees lose two ways he can't play and his trade value would be zip point nothing.

...been saying they should be sellers for awhile now. Hate to say it but the best thing for this franchise is for them to suck for another couple of weeks to make management finally accept the fact that they simply aren't very good...that way they can at least jettison some of their better chips and trade them them for prospects to hopefully help them to reload for the future.
...if the Steins and Cashman fail to realize this they are evidently as brain dead as I think they are.

...to go a step further, here's what the Yanx should do;

1. keep ARod on the bench and/or release him and pay him off...no way should he be allowed to return next year.

2. even if it involves eating some salary, see what they can get in return for Gardner, Ellsbury, Beltran, Headley, Miller, Chapman.

3. call up Judge.

...yeah, I know, some of those players seem almost untradable...but the Sox found a way to get rid of their unwanted baggage, so should the Yanx....and yeah, I know that would require Cashman to get his head out of his ass for a change. That job position needs to be re-evaluated too, as well as the rest of the management including the farm system.

Early in the season I predicted 83-84 wins, apparently I gave them to much credit.

Looks like you may come very close to the target.
Not too shabby.
Question- Was the Yankee offense being next to last and 5 runs away from scoring the least amount of runs in the league a major factor in your prediction?

lol....yup, we all wouldn't mind getting boat loads of top prospects for the veterans.
And I wouldn't trade Miller to any of the top teams unless I get at least two very good prospects........not handing the Cubs, Giants, Tex..ect a ticket to the WS without them paying through their noses.
If not, I wouldn't mind one bit if the Yanks kept him and possibly extend his contract helping to solidify the back end of the pen with Betances as the Yanks go forward in the next couple of seasons.
He's been too consistently good, and if or when he loses a bit on his fastball, he will continue to be effective with his great slider/slurve.

Good news- I've seen where Judge has recently turned things around and is back on track as a legitimate "top" prospect.
Looks like he is on schedule to move into RF either this year if Beltran suffers a long term injury or if he's dealt at the deadline, or at the start of next year...just as we thought.
