TUESDAY @ 7pm PST : What will you be doing?

Welcome to our community

Be a part of something great, join today!

I'll be at my daughter's middle school band concert. :sigh:

And I'm a season ticket holder (haven't even had the heart to sell them yet, but I guess I should get on it.)

Oh well, thank goodness for DVR.

Man, you gotta get your priorities straight!

Yep. You should have arranged for her band to play at halftime at the RG. Then you could have your cake and attend the band concert too.

Please tell me the game is on KGW! Otherwise I'll be slummin it with thousands of others watching a shitty feed off the net, drinking a beer, and saying "FUCK COMCAST" every time the feed drops out.

I will probably end up going to the nearest sports bar to my house, which happens to be a total piece of shit called Tom's. But, there will be beer and Blazers. Can't go wrong with that.

Three parts of that that scare me:

1) That there are possibly Patent-Leather Rasheed Wallace Air Force 1's out there.
2) That HCP forked over the cash to buy a pair.
3) That he thinks somehow they're "special occasion" worthy.

Uhhh....all 3 apply to me too. I was celebrating when I acquired mine.

I will be deciding whether I want to get out of bed (5 in the morning here) and try to find a good internet feed.

Since I live in AZ, I ALWAYS get league pass, but this particular opening night I will be at my bar, Pranksters Too, (thankfully a sports bar with league pass) across the street from my place. I will be watching the Blazers and competing in a bar olympics to raise money for a friend of a friend who is dying of liver cancer. I barely know the guy but I'd be drinkin at my apt anyways so my booze money is better spent helping someone. But I probably won't fare to well in the bar olympics cause I'll be so focused on the game! CANT WAIT!!!

Ironic that you are raising money for a guy with a failing liver by participating in a bar olympics. LOL

Haha! Ya it is ironic but the fundraiser is being put on by 2 bartenders there, who would have never known the guy if he wasn't a regular. He was a pretty big drinker from what I hear but it's not cihrrosis(sp?) of the liver, it's cancer. Point being, if he had gone to the doctor regularly, it could have been detected in time to treat it. So get those yearly checkups people, especially after age 50!! (I'm 27 FWIW but...)

I will be getting off my lunch break and going back to work =[

I'll be turning on my Comcast cable box for the first time since it was installed two weeks ago. Then watching on 106" of HD perfection! Go Blazers.

That's right! I remember seeing that before. PM me your address so I can come over and plop down on that couch with you!

:tsktsk:

I would, but you'd better be at work. Cooking up some nice replays, etc for me!

I will be at the Rose Garden in Portland Oregon, in section 330 with my son, wearing a Greg Oden jersey, watching the Portland Trail Blazers defeat the Houston Rockets.

The only question is which Oden jersey - red or black? I've worn one, or the other, to every Blazers game I've attended since opening night 2007. I'm leaning red this time. Of the 30 games I've attended over the past two season, the Blazers have only lost twice. Both times (April 2008 against the Rockets and December 2008 vs. the Clippers) I was wearing the black Oden jersey. The red Oden jersey is undefeated.

I'll be way up top section 308, hoping to see another playoff atmosphere again in the RG. I'm stoked and can't believe it's here again. Whoo hoo!
