OT Tuesday's Democratic Debate

Well, we're down here in Panama City Beach for a few weeks, so I'll have a little time on my hands. I may even catch some of tomorrow evening's Democratic debate. In honor of said event, I think I'll grill a nice bacon cheeseburger (in paradise!), flanked by some dolled-up Kraft mac 'n cheese, and a fresh salad. Yum!

PS: I'm planning to connect with @theprunetang here! He may even show me some fishing techniques!

BTW, I'm glad that Biden is sending out the clear warning to his colleagues, basically instructing them that attacks on any of his family are off limits!

We use to buy that for ten cents a box when I was in college and for several years thereafter. I swore I'd never eat that again when I earned real money and I've been true to that oath. I either make it at home from scratch or I buy it from Honey Baked Ham.

Yup! I do throw in extra cheese and a few other goodies. Generally speaking, I make make mac 'n cheese from scratch. Tomorrow night, though, I want super easy...in honor of watching the Dem slug-fest.

My debate watch party is filling up fast. Drinks are chilling, bread is doing slow ferment, pickles made, desserts baked, just put rub on chicken. It will chill overnight and be roasted tomorrow. While chicken is in oven, finish potato salad and green bean salad and cook sausages. Also slice cheese. Should I take a picture of the table?

Speaking of cats, I hope Lucia does not come running in with a kill, or worse, something still alive. She's been doing a lot of hunting lately. I am used to it but the other primates might find it disconcerting.

Not a bad idea. Craft beer works very well, too! Personally, I enjoy a nice IPA.

So far none of the candidates has given the impression they really want to be President, or maybe just don't believe they could possibly win.

Just to win the primary, you will have to take out Biden and Warren, and then Harris.

Anyone who doesn't rip Biden to shreds tonight, while he's being investigated for corruption in 2 foreign countries, is just campaigning for profit and fame.

He has publicly threatened them to lay off tonight or else.

No credible leader will bow to his demand for immunity from scrutiny.
