Trump Threatens Pennsylvania Gov. Tom Wolf: I’ll Withhold Federal Aid Because You Didn’t Help My Campaign

President Donald Trump escalated his attacks on Pennsylvania Gov. Tom Wolf on Monday, threatening to not come to the state’s aid as the deadly COVID-19 pandemic continues to plague it. “So Tom Wolf, next time give us a little notice, governor,” Trump said Monday at the Allentown rally appearance, claiming “your governor made it almost impossible for us to find any site” for the event. “And I’ll remember it, Tom. I’m going to remember it, Tom. ‘Hello, Mr. President, this is Gov. Wolf, I need help, I need help.’ You know what? These people are bad.”

Trump also falsely claimed the governor has “the whole commonwealth” shut down and continued spreading his baseless conspiracy theory that restrictions would be lifted on the day after the election, because he believes the moves are being used to hurt his re-election effort. Wolf has aggressively fought in court to keep outdoor crowd limits to 250 people as community spread of the coronavirus has picked up throughout the late summer and fall. New case numbers are beginning to rival April’s early peaks of the outbreak in Pennsylvania.

Trump has made a point of baselessly attacking Democratic governors of swing states during the pandemic. Wolf and the governors of California, Michigan, New York, and North Carolina have been his frequent targets. Trump has repeatedly called on the states to toss aside all restrictions, even though they have been eased since the earliest days of the pandemic.

If Donald Trump ran in 1932 against FDR - he would claim that FDR wants to get rid of the horse transportation industry and run the economy into the ground.

It's his brand tho, he is the war-time president that can not handle a virus but his military solutions are middle-age like (build a wall).

Trump supporting write-in candidate declares herself governor of Ohio after discussing plot to kidnap Mike DeWine

A woman who ran as a write-in candidate against Ohio Governor Mike DeWine has unlawfully declared herself governor of the state and been implicated in a plot to kidnap and prosecute Mr DeWine.

Renea Turner, who ran against Mr DeWine as a write-in candidate in 2018, posted a video to her Facebook on Thursday in which she places her hand on a Bible and proclaims herself the governor of Ohio.

Ohio is free from Tyrannous leadership," she wrote in a Facebook post following the stunt.

The day after she posted the video, Ms Turner met with an individual who claims she pitched them a plot to place Gov. DeWine under house arrest.

According to the individual - who asked local media not to identify them over fears of retribution - Ms Turner told them that they would kidnap Mr DeWine, try him for several alleged crimes, and then sentence him to exile or execution.

Ms Turner spoke to Cleveland.com and confirmed that she did have a phone conversation about placing Mr DeWine under house arrest, but said she never had any specific discussions beyond that. She called the whistleblower a "dingbat."


The Ohio Capital Journal was the first to report on the plot.

Ohio State Troopers visited Ms Turner at her home Friday morning. She said the troopers were "just there to check out my temperament and what my plans are."

Ms Turner has not been placed under arrest.
 
Supreme Court just voted 5-3 to stop ballot counts in Wisconsin. Ballots must be received, not just postmarked, by election day or thrown out. Post office continues to slow mail especially in urban areas of swing states. An appeals court denied Republican request to stop counting in North Carolina, Trump campaign is asking Supreme Court to overturn that decision. With Coat Hanger now on court also asking to reconsider similar case from Pennsylvania court decided less than two weeks ago.

Texas governor proclaimed people with Coronavirus wanting absentee ballot need to bring a doctor's note. You know, like high school.

The only way they can win is keep people from voting and don't count ballots.

Call me crazy, but there’s just something ingenious about a completely mainstream, corporate-funded “movement”. The word “bullshit” comes to mind when I watch Nike and Sprite commercials about equality. Lol. Get the 8 year olds in Cambodia to sew up some more soccer balls to pay for your fake, moral posturing nonsense commercials about doing the right thing.
