so then, Arizona (I love this shit):

that would mean there are about 320,000 votes left to be counted

* Pima County - about 50,000 votes left and Biden is winning in that county 60% to 38%
* Maricopa County - about 188,000 votes left and Biden is winning that county 52% to 46%
* Coconino County - about 7,100 votes left and Biden is winning there 63% to 35%
* Apache County - about 3,300 votes left there and Biden leads 67% to 32%

that's about 244,000 of the 320,000 votes left in counties where Biden has been winning total votes by at least 10 points. And he's been winning absentee ballots by 9 points

sure doesn't seem like there's enough margin there for trump to win

Nope. Bidens got it

What do you guys think about AOC as potential president in 2024?

Georgia has about 250k votes to count, all mail in and early votes. Biden down 87k.

please tell me where I'm going wrong:

I see the 87,000 votes

but 4,746,349/.93 = 5,103,000. That leaves about 350,000 votes left

now, almost all those remaining votes are in districts where Biden is winning, most times by 20-35 points. 87K is a significant deficit, but it is possible. Not sure about probable. Maybe less than 50-50

the only, whoa-there is that Biden has only been winning absentee ballots 51.3% vs 47.7%

You don't believe public officials, highly respected (at least used to be) as that of the POTUS, aren't role models? You and I, as we're adults, don't feel a need to have role models, but children do. And, it won't just be the parents, either.

Not trying to be confrontational with you.

children need and deserve quality role models.
Now please show me a large sect of children who watch politics and think the president is thier role mode over pop culture stars and athletes?

i get what your saying but i dont think children look to politicians to be role models unless thier family/ parents are actually politicians. Now age is a factor. im guessing on 12 and under?

I wish, but just not happening. The general electorate is still made up mostly of boomers who wouldn't give her the time of day. Same with Pete-- I've liked him more an more as of late, but the country is still too backwards to vote a gay guy as president.

But Dems need to give serious consideration to Booker/Castro/O'Rourke, in addition to Kamala depending on how she does here.

Georgia Secretary of State Raffensperger held a news conference to update. The secretary says there are at least 200,000 outstanding absentee ballots and another 43,000 early votes.

“I want everyone to know by the sound of my voice that every legal vote in Georgia will count. We have about 200,000 ballots left to be counted. With the absentee ballot process, and there are also about 40,000 to 50,000 early votes that need to be counted. Every legal vote will be counted. We’re saying that every legal ballot will be counted in Georgia because that’s our process,” Raffensperger said.

You aren't giving kids enough credit. They are on social media. They know what the presidents says. My son was blown away at what Trump said about vets recently. The message of hate is out there and they see it. My kids just showed me a video from yesterday of a bunch of Trump people chasing down and threatening a woman with a BLM sticker on her bumper. Trapped her in a parking lot. Trump flags, shirts waving in the wind behind them. This is not OK.

LOL at the thought that politicians aren't role models. WTF is that guy smoking?

I did a report on Honest Abe in the 4th grade that I remember to this day. Was fascinated by that guy. Barack was my first vote ever in a presidential election, and loved everything he stood for and the leadership he espoused. Always idolized Kennedy.
