I'm not angry at the election workers. I'm angry that the states who had a lot of advance notice that this was coming because WE ARE IN THE MIDDLE OF A PANDEMIC didn't seem to do any preparation. This is an entirely different election than we have ever had to deal with. OF COURSE there was going to be more mail in votes.

Some states can start processing mail in ballots early. In Michigan and Wisconsin Democratic governors requested change in election law to allow it but Republican controlled state legislatures said no.
