Politics Turning GA, NC, NV, and/or PA into victory (Biden vs Trump, 2020 election!)

...actually, you didn't see this in 2016 or any other election because there is a goddamn global pandemic you dumb fuck. So many of these states put new protocols in place for the very first time. Not to mention the shear number of mail-in votes vs in person voting this year and the total number of voters was much higher. Go figure :dunno:

I'm starting to get a queasy stomach and some 2016 vibes

Georgia:

Richard Fausset, in Atlanta 9:34 AM ET

Gabriel Sterling, Georgia’s statewide voting system implementation manager, said that 61,367 outstanding mail-in absentee ballots remained uncounted. The state aims to finish its count by noon. See Georgia results ›

so then, Biden has to overcome a deficit of 18,146 votes, and there are only 61,367 absentee ballots left. He can win if he gets 65% of those votes.

however, so far, in Georgia:

so, Biden's best hope is that those remaining ballots are in blue counties. This article from the AJC implies they are but also says there are only 51,000 votes remaining:

if there are only 51,000 left, Biden would have to win a 70-30 split. Too steep a hill?

Pennsylvania:

so then, a difference of 135,626

and this says it's under 125,000:

now, it seems impossible to find two estimates of remaining ballots being the same. Sometimes the variance is crazy. Going by the number in that first tally, the 91% remaining number, there are around 630,000 votes left. But I say a tweet from an elections official that said there were around 360,000 votes left in Biden counties, and 180,000 left in Trump counties. That would be around 540,000. If the count just matched that 2:1 ratio of blue/red counties, Biden wins by 50,000

and this is somewhat reassuring:

the problem with that is we don't know if red counties have been tabulating at the same rate as blue counties

of the remaining states, this one seems to have the best numbers and trend-lines for Biden. I just wish they were getting the job done faster

Arizona:

upload_2020-11-5_9-2-2.png

that used to be a 130,000 vote lead. Last night it was a 93,000 vote lead...until it dropped to the current 69,000. The 93,000 vote lead was when there were 600K ballots left. Currently there are 470,000 votes left. If the rest of the ballots mirror those 130K ballots counted since last night, trump wins Arizona

the problem here which makes these ballots skew more trump is that the remaining ballots are those cast on Monday and Tuesday. Mostly ballots dropped off at ballot boxes. And late voter skew more heavily R. I'm pretty pessimistic about Arizona right now....talk me off the ledge
*******************************************************************************************************

Nevada:

it was down to a 7,600 vote margin with 300K votes left to be counted

however, Nevada just updated and Biden's lead is over 12,000, but it was only about a 15,000 vote update. ow it just dropped back under 12,000. I don't know which way this one is heading but I don't like the trend
*********************************************************************************************************

it's all looped back to Pennsylvania being Biden's best hope. That might be the only state out of the remaining 5 he wins, but it would be emough

This whole thing is just showing how horribly inefficient some of these states are. It's absurd and they should be embarrassed.

...it was to be expected given the shear volume of mail-in votes :dunno: the states struggling the most are not used to this type of operation (clearly)

dont they normally take this long to count all the votes? Bc of the pandemic things are different this year but 2018 took days too

Just relax everyone

The AP already called Arizona. Look into the history of the AP. They don’t just call states if they aren’t certain.

They didn't call Florida in 2000 did they?

There's a little more urgency this time. Maybe they could like.... not stop counting for a day? Or bring in more people to help count?

They had to stop counting in Allegheny because of a Trump Lawsuit
