Sorry, that was my idea. I had to bus in the entire nation of Mexico disguised as Groucho Marx but it went off without a hitch. Surprising thing is, they never checked our citizenship, LOL.
But that damn Trump sees right through my nefarious plans. Damn him, I can't pull anything off with him in there. Somehow got to get him out so my gang of Chinese and mafia spies can take over.

So called post office whistle blower faces serious federal charges. Anyone else notice how criminals become Republican heroes? Starts at the top, I guess.

Meanwhile Trump has made no public appearances, held no meetings, received no briefings. Just rage tweeting. A toddler sometimes breaks a toy rather than let another play with it. Most of us learn not to do that at age three.
 
in case you're wondering, the story of the postal worker in Erie, Pa. who made allegations against the USPS, but then recanted, is notable because Lindsey Graham and trump used those allegations to get Bill Barr to authorize investigations (fishing expeditions) into voter fraud:

When shit got real and it came to lying to investigators from the U.S. Postal Service's Office of Inspector General, Hopkins got cold feet. Officials told both The Washington Post and the House Oversight Committee that he recanted in a signed affidavit, saying that he had lied. And then in a video tweeted out by O'Keefe, Hopkins recanted his recanting. Which probably had more to do with trying to preserve the $136,000 he'd raised on a GoFundMe page by Tuesday evening. If so, it was in vain. GoFundMe’s Bobby Whitmore told the Post the money raised on the site was "not disbursed and Hopkins never had access to the funds." O'Keefe is undaunted, as usual, and says that he's got recordings of the investigators coercing Hopkins and pressuring him to sign a document he didn't understand. Which seems pretty farfetched—the guy had to understand what "I lied before" means.


That Graham and Barr are using O'Keefe to call the results into question in Pennsylvania is so Trumpy it's disgusting. And completely predictable. When it comes down to whether there was any actual fraud in Pennsylvania, though, and when lawyers are facing a judge, in court, the fraud claims melt. When it comes to real legal jeopardy of lying about voter fraud—interfering in an election, which is a crime—these people fold."

Georgia Sec of State has ordered a full hand recount. There is no way a recount would flip the state. He could have asked the Trump campaign to pay or split the cost as Georgia has no automatic recount law; instead the Georgia taxpayers will pay the full amount. It will be slow, expensive (at a time when states have massive revenue loss due to Covid and are cutting schools, services, everything), and absolutely pointless except to feed Republican conspiracy theories and show his loyalty to Trump.

It was actually "Trump is Deranged Syndrome" all along. A non-deranged president doesn't do what he is doing right now, especially after telegraphing it for months. We now know who the Deranged one truly is.
