Are the Vikings and Gophers also trying to get new stadiums? And how would the Vikings be compensated? For those of you who don't know, the Vikings get all the profits the Twins make off parking and concessions.

This is good. The Metrodome shouldn't be a baseball stadium. Although, they would still need the state to pass the stadium bill. The Vikings have secured land in Anoka County. The Gophers are trying to get an on-campus stadium...

I heard the Vikes were trying to get a stadium with a retractable roof. And the Gophers would play in it with the roof open, and the Vikes would play in it with it closed.
