Two Words: Tiger Woods

No person has revolutionized his particular sport like he has. Have they?

I look to Michael Jordan in basketball and Wayne Gretzky in hockey who have done similar feats, but not equal to what Tiger has done cross-culturally, across the masses... in a 'secondary' sport (in terms of general popularity...live and television fans, etc.)

I don't think baseball has anyone close in this category.

Man, what drama last Sunday! He's baaaaaaaaaack.

I don't know if anyone has ever dominated a sport the way Tiger Woods has . . . he has and will continue to shatter numerous golf records.

I also can't recall a more popular sports figure (Ali?). The TV ratings for last Sunday's round (non-major) was the highest rated golf tourney since last year's US Open . . . the last major Tiger has played in.

Sometimes I think he is messing with the public and turns it off and on to create momnets like that putt on the 18th . . . he seems to do what he wants at will.
