I mostly think its my metabolism because I'm not the best eater.Wanna lose weight? Don't drink ANY pop. I've never really liked pop and its probably why I never got really big. I know girls who stopped drinking any pop and they lost 10 pounds in a few weeks.

I've got an incredibly high metabolism..I'm 5'10 now, 135-140..I need to gain weight, but I cant! I eat more than anyone..like seriously, its weird how much I can eat..But I can't gain weight.

<span style="font-family:Comic Sans MS">In the 9th grade, I used to weigh 164 or somewhere around there. I began dieting (exercising without eating much) and eventually became God-awful thin, you know what I mean? I think I was down to 144 lbs. Now I sit at exactly 150 lbs and am a junior in high school. Anyway, my point is, even though I'm sure you already know this: never starve yourself!P.S: I wasn't chubby, but I had a gut developing and I didn't like it so I began losing weight. I have a very flat tummy now.</span>

Dont lie Illosophee, we all know you couldn't even see your toes...

How'd you know my secret? :shifty2:But, no, seriously, I wasn't fat at all and am currently thinner than a twig. My penis is the ooly fat thing on me. </span>

I don't have to worry about that. I'm relatively skinny..14, 5"8 and probably about 125-140 pounds..I havnt checked since June..And I still eat quite a bit too. Probably about 3 meals a day, and a ton of snacks.

I went on a diet two summers ago. Used to be 5 foot, 180 lbs...now im 5'6", 135 lbs.

I guess my metabolism has caught up to my thinness.</span>

I put in 4 hours at the gym today instead of two, I played 4 full court games as well as a few 3 on 3. I had a small salad for lunch with water. The only thing I did wrong was at the gym, They were out of water so I bought a Gatorade.

Just kidding man, good luck. I need to do this as well, no question. You are motivated and you seem dedicated to doing this, so hopefully everything falls through. I remember 2 years ago, I lost 20 lbs. in a month, then I stopped doing it. I got lazy, and now I look like Jared before that bastard discovered Subway.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (GArenas @ Jan 1 2007, 08:44 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>lol you think thats badSame height, 115 LBSPow3rballin how old are you.</div>I'm 15.I need to work out my chest more.. I have no chest......... too lazy to hit the gym tho lol..

<span style="font-family:Comic Sans MS">I'm starting to grow bicep muscles, but nothing spectacular. They don't seem to fit my thin body...</span>

lol things like this inspire me for like 10 minutes - than I'm like damn, I just don't have the motivation to keep doing that.

I look so skinny

good luck manI hope you aren't doing this because of people crackin jokesbut yeah its good to stay in shapebut if you lift weights you probably wont lose as much weight..just fatyou'll lose fat from running (I highly advise doing cardio if you lift weights at the gym) and then you'll gain muscle from lifting so you probably wont lose 30 poundsin how much time do you wanna do this?

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Mind Game @ Jan 3 2007, 02:02 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>good luck Tony btw I am 5'8 like 140-150</div>Good for you.

I wish I could drop 10 pounds.

Hey Tony, when you get really skinny and buff, are you going to post shirtless pictures? :worthy:

I maxed out my bench press today, I put up 265 pounds twice. That's pretty impressive in my opinion.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (BALLAHOLLIC? @ Jan 1 2007, 10:36 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>Basketball is my cardio, I will be running full court games for 2 hours each day. I hate running with a passion unless it's for basketball.</div>No its not actually. Because Basketball doesn't target the heart only. The only way for you to do that is cardio activites. Running on a treadmill does nothing but workout your heart. Your leg muscles do get a workout, but its not enough to build muscle. The heart however, is affected and for you to take training to the next level, your heart has to be able to work twice as hard. If it cant, your stuck at your current plateau trust me.

Wow, I made some progress. I went from 220 pounds to 207 pounds in a month without a strict diet. I slipped up on my diet one too many times and still managed to lose 13 pounds in a month.I'm looking pretty good, and I have more energy.

Better to stick with a diet that you know you can actually keep up with, if that makes sense to you.
