Awesome, have any idea how your going to go about proposing to your significant other?
I was never more nervous then when I went down on one knee to ask my wife to marry me. Those few seconds before she replied seemed to stretch out into an immeasurable amount of time. Was also acting wierd for two months before I asked, so says my wife.
Anyways I never say congradulations early but best of luck and hope she says yes

I just proposed over xmas. My advice is to keep it simple, from the heart, and private. Then prepare for lots of sex for the next few weeks, the just engaged sex is the best kind.

Is your wife the type to be embarrassed in a public setting for private things? Then don't propose in front of strangers. Does she want her family involved in everything? Maybe call her father and ask for his permission first. My Father in law said basically "Hey you're not marrying me, as far as I'm concerned it's up to her." I set up my camera to take a "X-mas card" photo, but it was really on a timer set to take 5 or 10 photos in a row with a 2 second delay. Then later, it was nice to be able to show her reaction to our immediate family and a few select friends.

congrats Mamba! Agree that actual proposal was most nerveracking part.

When I went down to one knee, I was so nervous my knee slammed into the ground and actually cut it open. I now have a scar on my knee from when I proposed
