The former Miss Grand Ukraine reportedly joined the Ukrainian military and has warned that anyone who crosses the border with the intention of invading will be killed.

Anastasia Lenna, a beauty queen who represented Ukraine in 2015 in the Miss Grand International beauty contest, made the claims on her Instagram, according to the New York Post.

A Washington Post article said a month ago most Ukrainians we're politically apathetic, concerned about inflation and jobs. President Zelinsky had a low approval rating, parliament lower.
Then Russia invades....

I got attacked for talking about female soldiers. Will ABM?

Bullshit. You didn’t get attacked for talking about female soldiers. Stop being dramatic. I said something completely innocuous and you decided to interject your agenda of constantly needing to call out men for not using gender neutral terms.

I didn’t make some long post about the bravery of the men fighting in Ukraine. I said get ‘em boys. You felt the need to call me out for not using a gender neutral term, which is completely inappropriate timing while people are fighting and dying.

If you had made a separate post like ABM and mentioned the awesome women fighting for Ukraine, nobody would have said a negative word, but you decided to take a shot at me. Get off your high horse.

Not sure if that is 100% true; Ukrainian press release says "possible" second round. Large explosion in Kyiv minutes ago so I guess Russkies are not yet tired of getting killed. At least Ukraine bought some time to bring in more javelins, stingers, NLAW's and Mig fighter jets. Yes, eastern european countries are offering them old mig jets that they already know how to fly!

I don't agree with it, but I can at least understand why those morons did it. They have been brainwashed. It only takes a few minutes of watching Fox news to understand what's going on. They genuinely believed that the election was being stolen. They thought they were doing the right thing.

Honestly, I see misled liberals as well who lash out first and ask questions later. Nothing as crazy as trying to take over the capital though. That's insane levels of brainwashing.

Oh, I agree, the blame does not end with the "truth seekers" that choose to believe the professional propaganda artists - as the propaganda artists are a big part of the problem - but at the end of the day we all have to make up our mind what we believe in and who we take at their word. Understanding why they were lead astray is absolutely fine - but once you choose to take action based on this misinformation - there are consequences.

The same apply to people that support Putin now.

Pretty damn sad, many famous bloggers in Russia with millions of followers are talking against the war; hope there will be some tangible results soon. There is still a huge convoy of Russian military just north of Kyiv, waiting for something. Possibly they just don't want to get within Ukrainian artillery range.
