I kind of thought 102 tanks was a bit more questionable? If they are anything like US Tanks that would be incredible.

Russian tanks are nothing like our tanks. Not even remotely close. But Javelins are a truly awesome weapon. Look them up if you don’t know how they work. They shoot straight up and then come down on top of the tank.

How is that reasonable? NATO is a defensive organization and Ukraine wants protection for what is now very obvious reasons. They’re a sovereign nation. They can do what they want.

Another day almost done in Kiev. Ukrainians have stopped any further incursions into the city itself but they estimate there are now 28000 Russian troops to the south and north of the city, with more on the way. Ukraine has set up hotlines for Russian mothers so they can give them info on whether their sons are killed or captured. They are coordinating with the Red Cross to try to get their bodies back to Russia, because, frankly, it doesn't seem that the Russian command cares. Ukraine still controls most major cities like Kharkiv but the Russians mkay ba also building up forces around those cities. Russians are choosing more civilian targets and as a result over 200 civilians are dead. Ukraine claims they are inflicting heavy cost in Russian lives every day and that most soldiers captured believed they out on "exercises", not being sent to war.

It would be truly tragic if many Russians died because they didn’t know they were actually attacking and thought it was an exercise.

Do you have a lock on your front door? A burglar alarm? If so, you are clearly a threat to your neighbors and they have the right to kill your family and burn down your house.

Yes i'm quite aware of what a Javelin is.
Not so sure i agree with you on Russian tanks. If they are T-90's then maybe? If they are T-14 Armada's then probably not.

Sorry man, most people have no idea about this kind of thing. The number of people who think anything with treads is a “tank” is maddening.

Ukraine is putting up a hell of a fight

He can't pull his troops out now because he would look even weaker

The US and Europe are sending Russia back to the dark ages with sanctions including cutting Russia's banks off from SWIFT.

We have heavily bolstered our presence along the borders in NATO countries to protect those countries.

We along with other European countries are continuing to send Ukraine weapons.

The Russians are threatening to pull out of the nuclear arms treaty they have with us (not that they are obeying it anyway), let the ISS drop on Europe or the US, among other things.

Russia is being backed into a corner, but they have China to rely on.

Tensions are rising across the world over this.

Putin may have just intended for a quick takeover of Ukraine, but started a global conflict. How far that goes, we will see.
