Re: Um...what the hell SA

Oh man, I hope our guys don't get...wait for it...RATTLED!

Re: Um...what the hell SA

I know this franchise has been a little snake bit in the past, metaphorically speaking, but this is ridiculous.

Re: Um...what the hell SA

Remember when Kobe had a bad steak or something in Sacramento and got food poisoning? Fans be crazy yo!

Re: Um...what the hell SA

WOW! That's crazy!

I wish it would be a requirement that the title of the thread should clearly state the topic of the thread.

Probably one of the maintenance workers put it there. Ridiculous.

Re: Um...what the hell SA

I would have cut off that snake's head and put into Danny Green's bed. Godfather style.

Re: Um...what the hell SA

The Blazers should eat it raw during pregame warmups and use the snake blood for war paint.

Re: Um...what the hell SA

I don't know , I thought "what the hell" was pretty accurate for what happens when there's a snake in the locker room.

...T-rob should have killed the snake then wore it out of the tunnel. Bring it up and leave it at the scorers table when he checks in

We should get revenge by putting Bigfoot in the Spurs locker room for game 3.

shouldn't there be some sort of investigation? i mean, imagine if someone had gotten bit...

then again, it is san antonio, texas, and there are probably snakes and giant bugs and poisonous bullshit everywhere anyway so i guess i wouldn't be surprised if the snake just walked in on its own

I would be EXTREMELY surprised to see a snake walk seeing as they don't have legs. :pimp:

I highly doubt someone put it there intentionally, and if someone did it was most certainly not one of the Spurs staff or players... If anyone it was probably a minimum wage contract vendor, and why put it in Thomas Robinson's locker of all people????

I'm seriously wondering how something like that could get in there with nobody noticing.

Spurs must have used illegal Mexican labor to build their arena. The snake got in due to shoddy construction.

There has got to be security cameras in areas outside the locker rooms that they can look at.

Buildings settle, there are cracks and gaps in the foundation. It could have gotten in from where a wall meets the floor, holes drilled for repair to plumbing or electrical in the locker room. It wouldn't have to knock on a door and slither down a hall to get into the locker room. There are a ton of ways it could have gotten in.

The bigger question is if it was a baby/younger snake is there a new snake den in or near the arena. There are always mice and rats in arenas, snakes like mice and rats. There might be more than one snake in that arena.

But honestly...

What kind of an effect do you feel this has on you if you are walking into the lockerroom 'locked in' and ready to roll?

How many of you feel this effected them last night on the court?

Fans going to tomorrow's game should bring rubber snakes! Especially if you have seats around the Spurs bench.

Word around here is that was a rat snake. It doesn't look like it to me though, but I do know it wasn't a rattle snake. Lol

The AT&T Center is right next (literally) to Joe Freeman Coliseum where we have the big rodeo once a year. It's basically a big barn. There's a lot of snakes around there that help keep the rats at bay.

Wow, I'm surprised to hear you have such a Laker fan problem in San Antonio.
