Great game tonight. So emotional. The turning point was when Turiaf missed his free throws when we were down 9.

So at 3-0, we are one of seven undefeated teams joining the Nets, Warriors, Lakers, Thunder, Hawks, and Hornets. Ever since the Blazers started the year 11-0 in 1990, I've always enjoyed watching the battle to be the last team standing. This year, we are in the battle! Very exciting. And so this thread is established to follow that battle. If we can win our next 4 (all playoff teams, 3 on the road), we'll be in good position to take the crown.

I also enjoy watching the battle be the last winless team but that's for another thread.

Go Blazers!

So what you're saying is that you're an advanced complainer, keeping up to date on things to complain about, even in fields you are not actively interested in?

fools gold... beat the bulls or thunder.... then i cant give credit

Ahahahahaha YES! I may have missed it but this is the first time I've seen "fools gold" this season. Gave me a much needed laugh. Thanks!

There's a lot of that on these boards.

I agree that the Chicago and OKC games will be the first major test of the season. But I also think it is important that teams have "Another Gear" they can go into when the games are tougher. Back when Pat Riley was coaching Miami in the early 90's, they would always win a shitload of games during the regular season, but when the playoffs came around, they didn't have another gear to go into, and would lose in the playoffs. A lot of the time in the first round. What I am watching for with the Blazers, is to see if they have another gear. Right now, the 4th quarter has shown me that gear. The question is, will they bring that level of play when they play the good teams?

To be fair, how many times were they knocked out by the Bulls?

Darn tootin' boy. Just like regular tootin', only darner!

Nets went down today, leaving only 6 undefeated teams now. Exciting!!

Undefeated Warriors and Lakers face off tonight so at the end of the night, we'll be one of only 5 undefeated teams, possibly 4 if the Thunder lose to the hungry Jazz.

Jazz are coasting to win over Thunder so at the end of the night, there will be only 4 undefeated teams: Portland, New Orleans, Atlanta, and Lakers/Warriors winner.

How is this possible? I thought OKC was the 2nd best team in the West!

So, the Thunder lost to the Jazz who lost to the Suns who lost to the Blazers? Am I reading it right?

Warriors down 25 with 6 minutes to go. Barring a miracle, here is your Final Four:

1. Portland Trail Blazers 3-0, Blazers are 49-12 combined in the last 5:23 games this season

2. Los Angeles Lakers 3-0, Pau Gasol (averaging 25/11) is leads the charge for the Lakers

3. New Orleans Hornets 3-0, Chris Paul is back

4. Atlanta 3-0, Joe Johnson workin' hard for that $124 million

Fallen out: Nets, Thunder, Warriors

Go Blazers. RIP Maurice Lucas

And then there were three? Oh Lord, NBATV.

At the end of GAMETIME tonight, they said "And then there were three," listing the THREE remaining undefeated ball clubs: the Hawks, Hornets, and Lakers.

HOLY SHIT. Watching the beginning of the show now. They showed the SIX undefeated teams at the beginning of the night. NO PORTLAND ON THE LIST. WHAT. THE. FUCK?

And our game is fucking ON NBATV tomorrow. How do they not know we exist??? We better win tomorrow. Then, on the show, they'll be wondering Huh? Who is this 4-0 team??

Help me. Were one of our wins taken away?

Yeah, they didn't count the one in LA because the story that night was Blake Griffin.
