<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Something-To-Say @ Dec 29 2006, 09:43 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>wtf? 2 years? jesus. Aren't you pretty religious? Half the kids on this forum probably weren't spankin off at 15, and you were getting the shag on in the shed already?I'm against underage sex, because if you're too much of a bi*ch to learn some f*cking patience(like drinking), then you don't deserve any at all. But unfortunately, like 80% of Americans are frickin whores and have to wherever and whenever. My question to you sickos that think underage sex is OK: What is the age where you stop? Are 13 year olds doing it OK too? 14? 12? 8? I mean come on. The age is going to keep getting lower and lower due to the nature of things nowadays. Nobody has any morals anymore.</div>my question is why the arbitrary age of 18? Did the bible specify an age? I think not. In terms of maturity, the vast majority of sixteen year olds aren't ready to drive and the VAST majority of people ANY AGE aren't educated enough to vote. I have no problem with underage sex as long as somebody is 14 or over and using protection. Some people are never going to be as mature at eighteen as others are at fourteen so an age limit seems stupid to say the least. Since kids are going to do it whether it's lawful or not, it's better to make it completely legal and educate kids betterTeaching abstinence for sex ed is like teaching the "just hold it" school of potty training. It's illogical and is only a political issue because of all the fundies who vote for the right. The age keeps getting lower because people mature faster these days. 18 year olds in the seventies looked like the 16 year olds of today. If chemically you are the same as somebody older there is no reason you should have less rights because you haven't "learned some f*cking patience". There's a difference between having morals and plugging your ears humming and saying "I'm not listening, this is how it was then this is how it should be now".
