When people hate on something that has nothing to do with them, I think there's some underlying issues.

That's one of my biggest reasons for concern as it relates to unions. Oh, and the dues that go to veritable schmucks.

You still lose your job if you screw up. They just have to treat you fairly and with respect, using the rules equally. So yeah, you have virtually no worry about losing your job as long as you are doing it. I have seen plenty of Union members lose their jobs over the years. The difference is that those members deserved it and the company went through the proper steps. This also protects the company from frivolous lawsuits from these terminated workers.
