Brüno is a mockumentary comedy film slated for release on July 2009. It is produced by, co-written, and stars Sacha Baron Cohen. The character Bruno originates from Cohen's previous Channel 4 and HBO series, Da Ali G Show. This film is the third based on characters from the show, following Ali G Indahouse and Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan, but the latter and this film occurs in real-life situations unlike the Ali G Indahouse.

Can Sacha pull this off? Do you guys/gals think this will be funny?

I liked the Ali G movie, Borat had all the funny bits in the trailer so it wasn't amusing, and Bruno was the least interesting on his TV show.

I'm hoping somehow they can keep the full title:

Bruno: Delicious Journeys Through America for the Purpose of Making Heterosexual Males Visibly Uncomfortable in the Presence of a Gay Foreigner in a Mesh T-Shirt

Title

Bruno: Delicious Journeys Through America for the Purpose of Making Heterosexual Males Visibly Uncomfortable in the Presence of a Gay Foreigner in a Mesh T-Shirt was a mock-title proposed by Hollywood-news and -gossip blog Defamer[1][10] and mistakenly reported as genuine by a number of sources of film information, including the Daily Star[11] and The Guardian.[12]

I refuse to watch any of the trailers before watching this.
