It's a joke. The problem is that we don't immediately know that.

Jody needs to sell to a decent owner ASAP if she cares about her brother's legacy in the NBA at all.
 
It doesn't seem like Jody has any intent to sell. Maybe she would change her mind when she sees the damage it is doing to her reputation? In which case I'll contribute...

I have have no proof of anything but I was wondering if maybe they are needing to cut costs because Jody is facing another lawsuit for being a sexual predator? Anyone have further details about her first run in with abusing people? Did it seem like more of a one off thing or more of a tip of the iceberg incident that deserves more public scrutiny?

I don't think a proven predator should just get the benefit of the doubt like that. There has to be a reason we need to cut costs and it appears to be a reason worth keeping secret. So I believe it is fair to speculate given her history of abuse leading to high payouts.
 
Sorry. I know I went a bit over the top. I just find it morally wrong that Jody still owns the team despite being a known abuser of her wealth and power. It is wrong that she holds onto the team and puts all the fans in a moral position of having to financially support her in order to support the team we have followed for decades.

Combine all of those things and it looks like you are trimming down in preparation for a sale of the team, but Jody says the team is not for sale.

Yeah, it makes the organization look like a bit of a circus.
 
Sadly, a good many sports team owners are people of dubious values. I don't defend bad behavior when a woman does it, but I do think women's behavior is more scrutinized.

If folks are going to boycott wealthy playboys and cougars and sugar daddies they will have to stop watching a lot of movies, listening to a lot of music and cheering for most sports franchises....I think Jody not being stereotypical beauty doesn't get the pass that May West or Madonna get in the aggressive women category. Warren Beatty, The Beatles, Elvis, hell a lot of folks who entertain you all throughout your life have histories of sexually active private lives....until they rape someone against their will or cross a line without consent...then that's a part of life that always has been prevalent amongst privileged celebrities. I read that her two head of security guards claims of smuggling, bribery and sexual harrasment were unsubstantiated by the courts. She was never convicted of a crime....the two security guards got a sizeable bankroll to go away. Paul paid them off...not Jody.

It's bullshit sir! You put together great replays and shouldn't have to piece yourself out. Fuck this organization and what it's forcing you to do. At the same time, keep fighting because in a world that lacks any simbalance of balance (I'm not any sort of Marxist) you have to fight. Good luck and I'm sorry that capitalism isn't rewarding you for your merits the way it should. True free market capitalism rewards hard work, expertise and value to the public. These frivolous decisions don't seem to regard those principles.

I only watch the Blazer's feed ~1/3 of the time (figuring about 1/3 are national broadcasts).
I try and skip over as much of the dialog as I can. Fast forwarding through all the commentary in/out of commercials and during free throws.

I'd wager that you are in the minority around here especially. I think Blazer fans in general have historically been comprised of more "die hards" than "casuals" which is what makes this fanbase different than a lot of teams.
