fuck him, Il take Nurk everyday of the week and twice on sunday

Fuck it I would do it. Even when there is a possibility that Boogie is gone after 5 months. You have to do this trade, you don't often get the opportunity as a Small market team to get a game changer like Boogie. You have to do this for Dame. And who knows? Boogie and Dame are friends, he also could resign

I would just like to point out that @BonesJones suggested that first trade for Cousins and I shot it down because I thought it was stupid to trade such a high 1st rd pick for an expiring Boogie. Guess Bones isn’t the only one who thinks that’s a logical move, maybe I was in the wrong.

Hey I thought we weren't supposed to say when we were wrong on here?

Maybe he writes for bleacher report?

I would comfortably trade CJ for him if he extended here. Wouldn't even take me five seconds to take that deal and best of all, Pelicans should fancy it too.

I doubt they trade him at all. They have been playing fun and competitive basketball lately. They are a small forward away from having a shot at their best ever playoffs run IMO. Davis and Cousins are impossible to guard.

Because you won't take your homer glasses off.

Or maybe he has his horizon goggles on and its just staring at the bridge of his nose? The road is long. Why go after someone who wont be able to make it all the way down the road with this team and will more than likely jump to another road in 6 months? so if we dont win it all this year, we lose everything?

That's not homer goggles. That's common sense.

In all fairness, I take what I said back. I fucked up and thought you were talking about Marc Gasol.

Done. If we can get him to sign long term. Rather than pay Nurk 18-20 mil/yr, I'd rather pay Boogie 25/yr. Nurk's ceiling is not higher than where Cuz is now as a top ten player. Rest of what we're giving up is meaningless as is.

Boogie will not get 25 a year, he will get 35 a year.

When did I suggest that trade?

It wasn’t that exact scenario but that was the gist of it. I can’t remember which thread it was but it was probably about a month ago.
I didn't say Nurkic for him though... I said I'd never trade Nurkic but I'd think about trading minimal pieces (like a pick) for Gasol and try and start him at PF.
