I know it's the first Sunday of football, but this is going to be an amazing match. Djokovic just beat Federer a few months back in Canada, but Federer is playing for history and has been steam rolling his opponents.

Federer holds server and takes the first game leads 1-0

Djokovic is holding in. Down 3-2 though

4-4 Djokovic serve is keeping him in this game.

5-4 Federer

EDIT: 5-5.. Djokovic is doing well with his serves!

5-5 a lot of unforced errors by Federer, very uncharacteristic for him.

Damn Roger got broken. He's playing like crap. Down 5-6.

Djokovic is winning with his great hustle! He has the chance to take the first set on his serve! Lets go Djokovic!!!!!!!!!!!

Wicked ace 40-0, he has 3 set points.

Federer fights off 3 set points.

Duece #2..

Advantage to Djokovic!

Duece #3

Advantage Federer..

Federer is picking on Djokovic's backhand.

Federer has a breakpoint after fighting off 5 set points. Crazy.

Game Federer! nooooooo

Djokovic with a mini-break in the tiebreaker. 3-2

3-3! Common Djok!

Yes Federer takes a 6-3 lead, 3 set points now!

Federer takes the first set on a double fault 7-6. They just flashed a stat, the last 14 players to win the US Open won the opening set.

Backhand down the line was insane by Roger.

Djokovic is rolling in the second set, he's up 4-1

Djokovic rushes past him to take a 4-1 lead in the 2nd.

Federer cuts it to 4-2. He hasn't had to work as hard to get points. Djokovic is sweating like crazy, and Roger looks like he's barely played a couple of minutes. I think he's going to break down Djokovic by running him left to right.

Federer breaks him again 4-3! 9 straight points by Roger.

Djokovic with 2 set points, up 6-5.

Wow Federer denies him again. Tied 6-6.

Federer is owning, wins the 2nd set 7-6!

Seven set points, zero set points won.

Maybe someday Djokovic will have a chance to beat Federer in a Grand Slam final, but not soon.
