QUOTE

USA Today’s NBA preview says nicer things about the Nets than most, ranking the team #11 in its power rankings and giving 50-1 odds that they will it all. San Antonio is 5-1. The key (no surprise) is health. The 10-page preview also calls Jamaal Magloire one of eight “Movers…maybe Shakers” and Nenad Krstic one of six on the crowded “Comeback Trail”.

The last 50-1 shot I passed up was the odds of the Rockies making it to the World Series.

The "official" odds from my betting source are:

Nets: 40/1

Knicks: 80/1

Boston: 4/1 What a suckers bet.

Detroit: 12/1

Suns: 9/2

Spurs 7/2

The lakers are 22/1 but the Warriors are 40:1 ???

The long shots are: Atlanta, Charlotte, Indiana, Memphis, Minne, Philly are 100/1
