The Pavers and users would never except this trade but here it goes.

Blazers get:
Paul George
Gerald Henderson
Jahlil Okafor

76ers get
Allen Crabbe
Meyers Leonard
Clev 1st

Indiana gets
Al Frouq Aminu
Ed Davis
Memphis 1st
Blazers 1st
What was the point of this? It'd range at least 3 firsts, Okafor, and Harkless for Indiana to consider.

Do you really think this is enough value for Paul George?

Probably not, but hey. I'd say switch Crabbe to the pacers and am aminu to the 76ers but they'd say fuck off...probably would anyway.

If we keep Nurk, Dame and CJ I'd let them have whatever they want for Paul George......it's Nate coaching...he wants defense...like Chief and Ed Davis are Nate type guys. AC, Ed, Chief, Meyers.....I'd trade them all for PG

They probably want Chief and Ed for a 1st and a future 2nd.

Still dumb. What's the value they see in that? They want to watch us get shit on by Golden State?

Actually it's probably because of the money... Smh.

It's not dumb. Our window with dame and CJ is the next four or so years. Unless we're getting a stupid rental, I'm all in on trying to actually improve the team through veteran players instead of waiting for a maybe that would take years to develop anyway.

That'd put us over the tax line though. Maybe Crabbe for Al and Stuckey?

Also, Jefferson only makes 10.3M. Is he really a salary dump?
Isn't Jefferson an old dude making a measly 10.3? Once a Net?

What ever happened to rookies that had immediate impact? Robinson, Duncan, LeBron, Melo, Wade, Griffin, and Lillard? Are there any guys like that in this draft?

Makes me wonder if the Pacers have reached the point where they've decided to trade George as they can't put enough around him.
Last time the Pacers were relevant was when they had that skinny who shot 3's and fucked the crowd and Spike Lee at Madison Square .............reggie......

They are all pretty young. Of the top 13 projected players......11 of them are freshmen and the other 2 are international players.
I can't see them making an immediate impact. You are looking at year 3 for them to be really good IMO

There's a freshman or sophmore at Temple that I saw play off the bench who looks like he's going to be a player...Damien Moore...6'11 210lbs...he stood out in a game I watched him play in.

Towns, Russell, Porzingas, and Booker all had immediate impacts and they were young. This years draft class has just been shit.

The upcoming draft is best in years. You'll have immediate impact players.

Fultz would be a starter for most teams.
Ball's a wildcard.
Jackson would be an above average NBA player already in all aspects except for shooting (which isn't necessarily a big weakness)
Isaac needs strength, but I think he's better than Ingram.
Tatum would probably start for us at SF as a 3rd ball handler/scorer as he can also spot up and shoot
Markkanen would be our starting PF as a shooting big who can go inside and play some defense

You'll also have more guys 10-30 making immediate impacts than most years.

What do you mean, what happened to them? Last year alone, there was Karl-Anthony Towns, Kristaps Porzingas and Nikola Jokic, all very good players as rookies. Some draft classes have immediate impact guys, some don't. It's hard to project ahead of time--no one expected Porzingas and Jokic to be immediate high-level contributors.

Chicago and Boston seem to be in the Paul George conversation...Chicago has Butler to trade..Boston has Thomas and a ton of assets to trade..

I have not seen all these guys play, but the ones I have........ Markkanen went 1-5 against oregon in 27 minutes with 3 rebounds. When I think impact I am thinking helping a team make the playoffs. He has a ways to go. I said the same thing last year about
Jakob Poeltl.....and I was dead on right. Fultz will not be a starter for a playoff team his rookie year.....but he will eventually be good.

I have watch Markkanen 5 PAC 12 games and I really don't see him as starter when he comes in the league. Why because he is soft and for being 7'0" he not good rebounder and yes he can shoot a little bit from the 3. But against California he score only 4 point and not many boards. I question how good on the defense end too. He not rim protector so might not even pan out in league.

I agree here. I think best case is a Frye type player. I wouldn't touch him in the top 20.

Just throwin' this out there:

Crabbe, Davis, Ezeli and our 3 2017 first round picks for Paul George, Monta Ellis, Lavoy Allen and their 2017 first round pick and 2017 second round pick.

Feel free to tear apart.

Not a chance in hell we get Paul George for those guys.
