Fuck that FG kicker, I knew he was going to miss it. He's absolute garbage. I knew the Ducks were toast as soon as I realized their stategy was to settle for the Fg.

I was thinking the same thing, but I didn't want to say it. What would have happened if DAT had caught that pass in stride?
 
And the Ducks could have used a few more TO's to give themselves more time, they were ROLLING. I sat through that whole come back and we lose because of our shiitty piece of shit FG kicker.

I don't know why Chip suddenly got all conservative on us.
 
So why isn't Beard kicking our FGs? Wasn't he the primary kicker last year?
 
Well, I don't think these Ducks are quite good enough to complete for #1 anyway. Matt Barkley was shredding our defense all game long, and once again we saw what a good DL could do to our offense until USC ran out of gas late. We'll beat the Beavers, go to the pac-12 championship and play in some 2nd tier Bowl game. Still not nice to have a rival come in and beat us in our house. Hope they send that fucking FG kicker back from whence he came.

But dang, the rest of the league was leaving the door wide open for us with all the recent upset losses.

He can't kick outside 40 yards anyway... He's quite possibly the worst kicker we've had in 20 years. Oregon has always had a solid kicking game (up until this jerkoff).
 
If everyone loses the rest of their games but us, can we still make it into the title game? ;)
 
I find ragging on a student (a real student, not a pre-NFL player) pretty distasteful. He isn't earning millions of bucks, now or in the future.

what would have happened if the Ducks hadn't spit the bit all night? It came down to the kicker missing a 38 yard FG for an OT try, but Oregon died the death of a thousand pinpricks missing opportunities all night.

Yeah, there were other mistakes that cost the Ducks equally, but you gotta make a 37 yard dead center FG with no wind.

It's not the kickers fault? The guy is on the team to do ONE THING. ONE THING! What good is a kicker that can't do that one thing? We weren't asking him to tackle Lee on a kick return or throw a TD pass on a fake. We asked the guy to do the one thing that he's supposedly good enough to do for a D1 powerhouse. Apparently that's asking too much, eh?
 
Is Maldonado a scholarship player? If so, the fucker is getting paid to suck.

After 12+ hours to calm down......

A) Can we stop the nonesense about how good the Duck defense is? They are really pretty mediocre.

B) Is there a reason so many college coaches neglect special teams/the kicking game?

C) When you play for the tie instead of the win, the football gods tend to kick you in the cajones.
