I've got two Brazilian National Team Futbol jerseys...my ex coworker was Brazilian and gifted me them a couple of times...they pass as Ducks gear from a distance and I don't have any Ducks gear....I've got Beavers stuff around here.

Went to Disneyland yesterday. holy fuck it was crowded.

Thought Star Wars land was pretty lame. Galaxy's Edge was ok, but Millenium Falcon was trash.

We were looking at that. Would be interested to see as Tahiti/Bora Bora would be a future trip.

The things that steered us away right now:

1. We're not the type to be able to sit at a resort and do nothing for 7 days.
2. It seems like it'd be pretty similar to Hawaii, but nicer but more expensive.

At my age it’s about the hospitality. We have heard great things from friends of ours. Hawaii is cool, but other than it being Hawaii, the experience was the same as staying anywhere

My cousin from New Zealand goes there often and loves it....for seafood, beautiful quiet beaches and relaxation that's my idea of a good time...I like to fish and snorkel so it's right up my alley...last thing I want from a vacation is a loud crowded city with neon and tourists everywhere and I don't drink or gamble so....I think you'll have a great time there!
 
How is Memphis? Looking to do a July travel weekend and they have the best rate (Allegiant Airlines though). Everywhere expensive!

Bad rap for crime, but it's a'ight. We've stayed at the pyramid twice and enjoyed it. The zoo is pretty cool. Graceland is OK.
 
Frankfurt tomorrow! Just for a week to visit a friend who has lived in that area for 15 years or so. Probably going to train through some smaller villages in Germany, the Netherlands, and maybe France or Brussels. I'm not sure exactly, he knows his way around so I'll just follow him and he said we will be off the normal tourist route. Pdx has a seasonal direct flight to Frankfurt also on Condor air, who I have hear are decent. No missed connections this time!

Pick up a Lufthansa edition Rimowa aluminum suitcase! I think its still made in Germany!

Rothenberg is a cool village. Pretty small but you can stock up on Christmas ornaments.

I wanna check out Baden Baden, its like a spa town. Saw it on Rick Steves

How's Scottsdale? Thinking of going and just chillin' at a resort/pool/etc.
 
Me? My vacation will be like all my other vacations for the last 20 years, dealing with medical issues. This year I get an all expenses paid trip to the hospital for the installation of an artificial heart valve. Are you turning green with envy?
