If you don't eat meat or milk products you'd have important health deficiencies. I love animals as much as anyone (more) and been Vegan for more than 2 years but it is unhealthy and not natural for human beings

Of course milk is poison, because you don't need calcium in your body right? I'm not just not uninformed, I can tell you that fibromyalgia for example is a direct result of not getting enough calcium, that if you don't get enough vitamin B12 you're in serious danger of getting all kinds of diseases. I love animals, I raise a tribe of cats, I love dogs, I love Cows, but vegan is poison

There are 9 essential amino acids. As long as you consume those aminos in your diet, you should be fine. I'm not a vegan by any means, but it is possible to get those aminos without eating animal products. It's just a lot easier to get them from animal products.

Stupid post.

What does the strongest animal on the planet eat? That's right, elephants are vegans.

/thread.

Yes but they're made up to be vegans, cows are vegans also, goats, sheep, but they're configured this way. We're meat eating animals

You can get food supplements, including b12. and there is calcium in some vegan foods but you can't really be healthy being vegan.

Just stop. I know plenty of vegans who are perfectly healthy.

You literally don't have a clue of what you're talking about...

Humans are omnivores.
Cats are obligatory carnivores.
Elephants are obligatory vegans, except during infancy.

Different evolutionary histories.

Being omnivores we can make choices that cats and elephants can't. That's why the book is called The Omnivore's Dilemma. Without choice, no dilemma.

Vegans overall are probably healthier, at least those who choose to be and are not driven by extreme poverty, as they tend to be better educated, more health conscious, more careful overall (not smoking, exercise, etc._

This guy has been Vegan since at least 1970 ...he ain't dead yet...

Actually, the elephants processing plant is way more complicated than ours. They essentially live of the bacteria that consume the trees and other plants they eat.

On the other hand, one of the biggest critter, the Sperm Whale way bigger than the Pachyderm, eats meat. Lots of it. Simple digestive system, spurns sea weed.

I eat a ton of meat and dairy, but its perfectly possible to be a healthy vegan. http://www.fuelforthefighter.com/the-fighter/
theres a list of professional and very successful MMA fighters who are vegans
Then in the NBA we have players like Wilson chandler, Al Jefferson, Garett Temple, Enes Kanter Kyrie Irvine and of course Damian Lillard. All Vegan.

As far as Calcium, most leafy greens like Kale have a bunch. One cup of kale has 245mg of calcium while 1 cup of milk only has a tad bit more at 305mg per cup. Many fish like sardines, Veggies like Broccoli or Boy Choy, and nuts like almonds all have substantial calcium. All nutrients are fairly easy to get and plentiful on a vegan diet if you plan your diet and eat accordingly. Eating a crap-load of donuts might be vegan, but that's not healthy eating.
