I went at the beginning of January and I stayed @ the Stratosphere. Won't be doin' that again.

What are some other good ones that aren't too expensive? Mirage any good? Paris? NY NY?

Sign up at a few different casino's players clubs. You'll get emails for didn't specials. The last ones I remember seeing were $60 per night for The Venetian and Mandalay Bay.

I've stayed in both places and they're great.

Mirage is good. Treasure island too. Not a fan of paris...small rooms. Ballys and flamingo are good because of location and are good for the money

I liked the MGM and would recommend it. However next time I'm in Vegas I will probably stay further up the blvd, perhaps at City Center. Heard good things about Vdara.

If you can afford, go to Venetian. You can fit 6 persons in a room and its way better. big thing is the pool when its warm.

Gold Spike is supposedly really good if you are looking for the cheapest possible hotel without it being a complete dive.

Repped suggestions. Thanks.

My big thing gets small in the pool!

your man boobs get small in the pool? Because as your wife says, "that's the only thing big on him"

Anybody have any personal experiences with the Monte Carlo?

Why don't you go get pulled over again for failure to stop for an emergency vehicle.

I spend a lot of time in the hotel room boning my girlfriend. :ohno:

I just scored a suite @ the Palms for $69 a night. Canceled my other reservation for this one.

I hate the crowd at the Palms. Stayed there a few times, its ok..hardrock is a lot better.

Actually staying there at Palms Place when I go there next month for St. Paddys/March Madness. Not my choice, but whatever.

I've read the crowd is much younger...so I'm assuming its more obnoxious? I dunno, I couldn't pass up on a suite @ that price.

not so much young, its a very "LA" crowd, at least a few years ago it was. kind of the hollywood type scene.

Now its kind of a cholo-esque crowd. think old town pasadena crowd.

If you want a reasonable room at a very low price, Palace Station. It's about a block west of the strip.
