This guy seems pretty good
We had Roy, Aldridge and Oden for 62 games. We went 50-12. And they were still developing chemistry.
I f***ing hate the knee joint.

Holy moly. Looks like a #1 pick to me.We had Roy, Aldridge and Oden for 62 games. We went 50-12. And they were still developing chemistry.

Living in Denver, I will say they actually see Jokic as their point guard. The NBA revolves around superior talents.
Centers don't win championships. Jokic.
Point guards don't win championships. Curry.
That wasn't 20 years ago. Those were the last two championships.
You're killing me! The coulda, woulda, shouldas are not helping! We had Roy, Aldridge and Oden for 62 games. We went 50-12. And they were still developing chemistry.

NewBatumSeeing some of the teams play yesterday, I'm getting anxious for our entry.
Who will be the player that is 'surprising'?
Gonna say Rupert.Seeing some of the teams play yesterday, I'm getting anxious for our entry.

If Jabari and Murray show promise, my excitement for the potential this year's success will grow exponentially....and predicting they will. It's the centers that are a complete mystery. I know nothing about Badji, so super curious.Seeing some of the teams play yesterday, I'm getting anxious for our entry.

I think Murray will surprise some peopleIf Jabari and Murray show promise, my excitement for the potential this year's success will grow exponentially....and predicting they will. It's the centers that are a complete mystery. I know nothing about Badji, so super curious.
Scoot and Sharpe could be something never seen before in a backcourt. Both players are exceptional athletes.Didn't read all the above, but see a lot about Scoot. Just curious, as I absolutely see Scoot being a potential star PG, and do agree about the star of a championship caliber team not being a shorter PG. Are there people who are thinking that Scoot has somehow surpassed Sharpe as the potential MVP of this team? It didn't even occur to me that some might. I view this team going as far as Sharpe takes them, and Scoot as the ultimate setup guy to help get him and the team to a contending level...And I don't think this diminishes the value of Scoot at his role and position. Not to mention the leadership, which will be critical.
Kenny Anderson and JR rider, obviously.Scoot and Sharpe could be something never seen before in a backcourt. Both players are exceptional athletes.
What's the best backcourt of all-time?
Edit: By best backcourt ever, I mean where neither is a "role" player. Scoot and Sharpe will probably never be better than Jordan and Ron Harper. But there was a huge gap between Harper and Jordan.Scoot and Sharpe could be something never seen before in a backcourt. Both players are exceptional athletes.

Wish we would have kept Kenny Anderson. Rider was fun for awhile. When he was fully engaged he was hard to stop.Kenny Anderson and JR rider, obviously.
I was so excited to get Damon and then he turned out to be a giant tool.Wish we would have kept Kenny Anderson. Rider was fun for awhile. When he was fully engaged he was hard to stop.
Better than Dumars and Thomas? I didn't see Frazier and Monroe just heard of them. But that it what I'm talking about.Frazier/Monroe

I had the same experience. Saw his Toronto highlights. Was excited. That didn't last. I wanted Anderson back. Or at least a real upgrade over Anderson.I was so excited to get Damon and then he turned out to be a giant tool.
Not the best of all time, but Isaiah Thomas and Joe Dumars (with Vinnie "The Microwave" Johnson on speed dial) were an absolutely killer backcourt, offensively and defensively. Undersized too......Scoot and Sharpe could be something never seen before in a backcourt. Both players are exceptional athletes.

Those were the days...Every year a new adventure. Kind of miss themI had the same experience. Saw his Toronto highlights. Was excited. That didn't last. I wanted Anderson back. Or at least a real upgrade over Anderson.
If it wasn't because of physical problems, his dropoff could have been because of the trade. It's kinda funny how we rag on Damon (some of it's justified), but Kenny Anderson really dropped off in production after he left Portland.
