Not the best of all time, but Isaiah Thomas and Joe Dumars (with Vinnie "The Microwave" Johnson on speed dial) were an absolutely killer backcourt, offensively and defensively. Undersized too......
So Scoot/Sharpe/Simons?

Maybe I’m crazy, but I really hope we don’t need Shae to score that much. I want balanced scoring. I want three dudes at 20+.

Scoot at 20 and 10.
Shae at 20 on super efficient numbers.
Grant at 20.

That would be amazing.
I don't think people realize that Ant will be one of our starting guards this season.

How come? You don't think that kid is going to be a nice pro?
I don’t think he will have as flashy or talked about of a rookie season as Scoot.

Could be good in the long run, I just think there will be some short term angst by Hornets fans.

I do not think Miller is going to be Marvin Williams 2.0. It will take time but he should be a good player at a position it is harder to find talent at.

So you see Sharpe coming off the bench or someone playing out of position?

I would rather see a rotation of Scoot/Sharpe/Ant in the backcourt with a rebounding, defensive SF next to Grant/Nurk.

Very much so. Sharpe could be dominant at SG. I think he would be solid at SF with not as many advantages.

With Grant's limitations, it would be tough to watch.

Before anyone says "Well, Grant makes 32M. We should not have to compensate around him". Yes, he makes 32M. If he had even normal rebounding numbers, he would be making 40M+ and an all-star.

Listening to John Butler Jr interview yesterday at 7'1 he said his natural position is SF.......I thought, wow...that's interesting! He said he can play 2-4 but never mentioned being a center at all. I guess when you weigh 175 lbs and are 7'1 you might be quicker on your feet?

No clue who is where, but there is NO way Ant is coming off the bench.

I listened and thought the same thing. I think it's because he can't gain enough to expand those gluet/hams. Hard to stay in the paint when you're getting leveraged out. I like his game and I like how he started to show his skill near the end of last season. His body makes him a tweener in an odd sort of way. Who was that player back in the 80's that was known for his sharp elbows?

Stockton, LOL

If I'm the agent of a short point guard who is trying to make a team in summer league, I'm telling them to stop jacking up shots. The emphasis should be on defense, rebounding, passing the ball.... and maybe hitting an open shot here and there. These guys get in there and jack up every single shot they can..... meanwhile the #2 overall pick gets 4 shots off.
