Boston lost to the Knicks, tonight. Their record is now 48-29....................one game ahead of the Blazers.

Who woulda thunk that?!

The Celtics have fallen off the ledge.

It's because their core, outside Rondo, is older than dirt.

LOL! "Fallen off the ledge" is better than us. Great.

By the way, I don't the Celtics give a care how they play against the Nets and Knicks. I think they take those games off mentally. Come playoffs, though, they'll be focused and a tough out.

They have had some significant injury problems as well. KG and Pierce look like they've aged five years in just one. Neither have been healthy all year.

They knew that goin into this situation. Sold some young prospects for instant success. That's one way to do it. I would not want us to go that route, but they did win one.

I'm rooting for NY. With every win, their draft pick which goes to the Jazz gets worse. No way do I want to see John Wall or Evan Turner in a Jazz uni.

Well, we've let young players such as Frye, Jack, and Outlaw go and added Howard, Camby, and Miller...

It's not my preferred path to success ... but if I had to chose that or a perennially good team that never quite got anywhere I'd take former. The jury of course is still out on whether or not this current iteration of the Blazers is primed to get to the promised land -- I suppose we'll have the answer to that question in another year or two.

And if you think any of those three was a key component to building a contender, you clearly don't watch the games.

Our bench is currently dying for Outlaw. Jack is a better back up PG than Bayless. Frye would've been HUGE help when all our big men went down.

The problem is the only one that did anything close to showing that while here was Outlaw, and he was really inconsistent. I really wish he hadn't gotten hurt at the beginning of this year, because I thought he was playing a lot smarter (one of his biggest knocks). A lot of times he would shoot us out of games in the first three quarters before sometimes getting hot in the 4th.
