Wow, fantastic. I wonder how Floki is going to like that? lol. Oh yea and that big fucking spike ball was the best part of the episode! Only 1 episode left?! They need to expand next season for a few more episodes.

Ragnar is gonna kill Floki eventually, he killed his bro. I'm still sad about Athelstan. I hate Floki.

The Vikings seem to feel let down by their gods lately. Maybe some of them will convert to Christianity soon?

I'm just gonna go ahead and quote myself like a douche.

haha good call, no idea it would be Ragnar though. Atheltan's death was a big deal for him, so much so that he is willing to forsake everyone else in Valhalla so he can go to heaven. One thing that disappointed me about that though was that I have always looked at Ragnar as king whole rules logically and who always has a plan. This time it seems his decision was based on emotion and fear of his own perceived looming death. Since we know from history that he survives this raid, Im wondering how this plays out and how ape shit Floki goes.

Vikings didn't have written language so folklore is their history

Now thats how you take Paris! Fucking 10 episodes for this season is it? I can't wait till 2016 and it looks like neither can Floki. Great ending to another great season.

Oh SHIT! I can hardly wait. Their previews are always killer also. I hear we get 16 episodes this season. Plenty of time to watch Floki twist in the wind!

Has anyone seen Black Sails? Worth watching?

16 episodes sounds great!

They raped and pillaged. PSU needs to change their mascot cause it offends me.

Anyone seen this show yet? It could be a Vikings spin off really. I just watched the first episode and it's pretty damn good so far.

I hadn't heard of that but it looks good from the trailer, I'll probably watch it tonight.

I'm really loving The Last Kingdom so far. I've been waiting for a movie, or a show, that featured King Alfred the Great for awhile now. When I first started watching the show I didn't realize he'd be part of the story. King Alfred is perhaps the most important figure in English history. I hope this show gains a following and lasts for awhile. I wonder if the success of Vikings made it possible?

I just finished The Last Kingdom also, it was fantastic and I'm very excited for more. If you watch the historical accuracy video you can see where it fits in with Vikings as a story.

"Right now the sort of person we're looking for is an aggressive drunken lout with the intelligence of a four year old and the sexual sophistication of a donkey.

I have not watched this series, but I have read the books. They're written by Bernard Cornwell, who also wrote the Sharpe series.

I have enjoyed Vikings, but lately it's moving a little too slowly for my liking. My enjoyment of Vikings is slightly lessened by already knowing what happened to these people.

I agree. I still love the show, but this season is slower than the previous seasons.

I'll check out The Last Kingdom.

I just hope Ragnar does not die. I don't think the show will be good without him, because he ties everything together as the main protagonist. You root for him because you saw him overcome adversity and climb from nothing to be king.

If he dies, the series focus would probably shift to his sons, but I'd have a hard time caring about them.

Not sure if they needed to add six episodes to this season. I'll take'm, but perhaps it was a bit too much.

The costumes, props & makeup on the Vikings show are “A movie" quality.

But agree with you and others, the plot this season is getting a little weird.

Agree. But I think Bjorn, Floki, and Lagertha are solid enough to keep me interested in the show/keep watching.
I wish Aslaug would die. I hate her!

If they choose to end his story the way it did historically, I think a plotline with the Great Heathen Army would be really interesting, also it would be interesting to see what Bjorn does in the Mediterranean.

I'm actually pretty excited to see more of Bjorn and the other sons. I was getting kind of bored with Ragnar, the time jump in the latest episode greatly renewed my interest.
