Vince’s Season of Pain
April 28, 2008, 5:45 pm From Game 12 through Game 82, Vince Carter played with a damaged right ankle. It wasn’t his best season, nor his worst. While Carter will always have his detractors, the numbers speak for themselves, and his insistence that he continue to play after the Nets had been eliminated contradicts his reputation and speaks of his leadership.

He makes a lot of good points that I've read on this board. McQueeny, are you lurking?

Lovin' the thread title GM, haha love it!

What Vince lost in athleticism this year, he gained in maturity and leadership. and still put up 26, 7 and 6 easily down the stretch.
