Vince the flopper

I don't know if anyone saw this but last night in the Nets loss, Scott Pollard came down with a rebound and turned his body into Vince Carter, Carter fell down holding his eye for several seconds and during the reply it showed that there wasn't any contact. There was a foul called on Pollard and Carter looked like a freaking fool. Also more importantly it was a horrible call on the refs part, there wasn't even close to any contact.

:no1:this is just disgraceful. Flopping is the downfall of the league.And this just makes me have even less respect for Carter.

What a faker. On the replay, it clearly showed that there was no contact. But he acted like a bi*ch, by his actions it looked like he got shot in the eye. In my mind, he should get a penalty from the replay for intentionally flopping. Asswipe.

Did anyone by any chance catch Pollard and his acting job on Krstic when he holds his arm after the play, not letting go of it, causing Nenad to pull it away only to get a technical from the refs while Pollard acts like he has no clue what happened..Of course we dont talk about that bullsh** play that scumbag Pollard made because you have to take any oppurtunity you can to criticize Carter..

its one thing to flop when someone runs into you and makes some sort of contact, cuz at least the guy touched you. But flopping when your not even touched thats just bull. He should be fined for puttin on the biggest acting job in the nba.

How can you compare Pollard's acting job with Vince's? Did you even see Vince's acting job?Obviously Vince is going to be criticized, and he brought it upon himself with the actions he pulled in Toronto. Any player that does that will have to suffer the same criticism. He brought it upon himself.It's the same with Ron Artest... because of the brawl, every time he plays physically or makes a "physical play/hard foul," everybody is going to criticize him.

Pollard did make contact with Vince, but he obviously exageratted the play..Im not denying that at all, but if you saw Pollard's play and it was Carter who did what Pollard did, you would all be bitching about him..Its not like it was a foul or anything, the play was well over and Pollard wouldnt let go of Krstic's arm. It was honestly just a cheap play by a cheap player who apparently cant contribute for his team in any other way..

Nobody is singling out Vince Carter as being the only flopper, what people are saying is that its wrong to get a call when your not even touched. It really is quite ridiculous. I personally think its ok to OVER exaggerage when you actually make contact but there was no contact made to overexaggerate.

Two words: Shut upHave you honestly never seen this happen before? I've seen Bruce Bowen, Rip Hamilton, Chauncey Billups, and Gary Payton do this before. And maybe the Vince Carter flop was obvious, and pathetic, but at the same time, in NBA games you have 7'0 centers trying to draw blocking fouls against 6'2 PGs, and falling over as soon as they are nicked by so much as a bicep. It's jsut as pathetic, and it's the way the NBA has become. If this one play makes everyone look badly at Vince Carter, look at anyone today in the NBA

Yea this thread is sort of rediculous in my opinion...yea i saw..vc didnt get touched on the play but that nigga is doing what ever he can to win..its the playoffs baby...and players like AI or Gary Payton wont have a thread on this cuz they flop on a daily basis...i think this thread was created because its rare to see a player like vince make an action like he did..my opinion..get over it..the play is done and vince probably knows that what his flop was way out of line.

I don't think you'll see Pierce flopping like Vince anytime in the near future
