Royce White's 28 points, 9 rebounds led the Rio Grande Valley Vipers over the Austin Toros 112-104 tonight at State Farm Arena.

Additionally, Chris Daniels scored 24 points. Glen Rice, Jr. added 15 points, and D.J. Kennedy followed with 14 points. Toure Murry contributed 12 points.

Lester Hudson led the Toros with 21 points. Aron Baynes added 20 points. JaMychal Green added a double-double 16 points, 11 rebounds. Tre Kelley scored 14 points, and Chris Roberts scored 13 points.

Austin took control of the first quarter. At the 3:33 mark, Sullivan sank a jump shot to put the Toros up 29-12.Three-pointers from Goudelock and Singletary, along with baskets from Johnson and White helped RGV close their deficit to 33-25 by the end of the quarter.

RGV outscored the Toros 21-20 in the second quarter. Austin held the 53-46 lead at the half.

The scored tied three times during the third quarter. A shot from behind the arc by Rice, Jr. gave the Vipers their first lead of the game 66-65. Kelley responded with a layup to put the Toros back up 67-66. Rice, Jr. connected on a free throw, and White made a layup to put the Vipers back up 69-67 with 5:57 on the clock. At the end of the third, Austin held the 80-75 advantage.

Kennedy connected on a layup that gave the Vipers the 90-88 advantage with 5:53 left in the game. The Vipers never looked back. White gave the Vipers their largest lead 101-90 at the 2:31 mark. The Vipers claimed the game 112-104.

RGV wraps up the 2012-13 NBA Development League regular season Saturday, April 6 when they host the Austin Toros in the second game of a back-to-back series. Tipoff is set for 7 p.m. at State Farm Arena. Fans can listen to Vipers games live on Fox Sports 1700 and can watch games live on the NBA Development League Network on YouTube.
