This could easily happen at any college again. Think of how big the campus' are. Who's gonna stop you? All they have to do is plan ahead and see when cops are off or where they are not located a lot.

I don't think people understand how screwed up socially this person was. Even as a small child he never talked to friends or family, he had serious social problems. I think this kid would've gotten much more help if he grew up outside the culture and was not South Korean. His sister works for the State Department, so it's probably not a family thing, just an odd-duck who didn't get the help he needed growing up. From what I've read, he was bullied, but not tormented, most people just ignored him thinking there was a strong language barrier. In college people would try to talk to him and he wouldn't say anything more than a word and would just sit with his laptop.
 
I think he definitely wasn't treated 100%, but that doesn't justify what he did, not in the least, not in any form. It was a despicable act not worthy of forgiveness or reasoning.
 
I'm wondering why he hated upper-class people so much. They said that his family owned a few small businesses and that they were in the upper middle class. Seems a bit strange..

Seems a bit strange..</div> They owned a small laundry business based on what I know, both of the shooters parents are in the hospital for various health reasons....so..who knows concerning the money problems....
